1950's renovated house with lots of original character next to Hawks Nest State Park and close to 2 more State Parks, in a quiet neighborhood and within a few minutes to all the New River Gorge National Park has to offer. 15 minutes from historic Fayetteville and the New River Gorge Bridge, central to whitewater rafting and rock climbing companies. This private country setting bnb has a picnic area, firepit, sandbox and a swingset. It is on 13 acres. We encourage our guests to enjoy the hiking trails and view our lavender farm. It's 1 mile from Plum Orchard Lake and about 20 minutes from the New River Gorge and ACE adventure resort. There is a small shop on the property with fresh eggs, lavender products, local maple syrup & honey, plus other homemade goods. Enjoy an extended stay at Lavender Hill Roost, or just stop by for a night.

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.
