Looking for an AMAZING experience in the Maldives but don't want to pay resort prices or you want the local experience? Then, Haneef's place is for you. We went to Malhoos over Eid and were welcomed like family into the island festivities, and there were PLENTY of festivities to see and participate in if we chose. The guest house was full because of the holiday but it didn't feel crowded. The staff is so kind and helpful with whatever you need. I'm telling all my friends about Haneef's place if they are considering a trip to the Maldives. Everybody should see the kindness of the people and the amazing water and beaches that the Guest House is located right next to. Nothing like sleeping and waking up to the sound of waves and eating breakfast on the beach. We were sad to leave.

This Villa exceeded all expectations! The place was immaculately clean and spotless. Linens and towels smelled fresh. The amenities, attention to detail, design and overall standard are truly on par with top-tier properties in the Maldives. You can tell that the owners have poured their hearts and souls into the place. Every detail feels thoughtful, cozy, and personal. The hosts are absolutely lovely. They are warm, welcoming, and genuinely made a personal effort to make me and my family feel at home. Goidhoo Island itself is a gem offering an authentic local experience. The beaches are peaceful and largely crowd-free. You’re just a 10-minute boat ride away from some of the best snorkeling spots and dolphin sightings. Photos on the listing are 100% accurate, if anything, the place looks even better in person. I’d absolutely stay here again, without hesitation! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great guest house, simple ameneties, ideal location to the beach and diving pick-up point, great communication and support throughout, especially arranging transfers. We ate in local restaurants and dived with a local dive company so cannot comment on the food or private tours. Our hosts were always available face to face or via whats app to answer questions.

We stayed at this guesthouse for 3 nights! I had a wonderful experience blending in with the locals on an island with few tourists. The food was also delicious, and the dishes using rice, bonito, and tuna suited Japanese people's tastes very well! Perfect for those who want to relax, unwind, and quietly enjoy nature. It was very refreshing and healing to have the sense of being part of the family and being able to play and do activities every day. The stars in the night sky were also the most beautiful. There is a daily ferry from Male, the capital, and the airport to Goidhoo, and I asked her to book a round-trip ferry ticket. Breakfast was included in the price of the stay, but they will prepare other meals if you ask. (Please note that there are only 1 or 2 restaurants on the island). The guesthouse also proposes daily activities taking into account the weather and other factors, so I was able to have various experiences without having to book individual tours! In addition to the accommodation fee, I paid a total of $195 for the ferry, meals, and activities (snorkeling on the outlying islands, fishing, crab hunting, and the Goidhoo Island tour). It is possible to pay by credit card. I was only able to stay for 3 days, but it seems that most people stay for 1-2 weeks. I was surprised that I could have such a luxurious experience in the Maldives without staying in a luxury resort. I'll be visiting again! so many of your thoughts and insights here.😊
