Cabin 20 km from the center of Alta. Quiet surroundings. Modern cottage with lovely patio, barbecue hut and (hot tub with limited rental. See your own description of guest access) Short distance to the expanse and mountains. Perfect for those who like quiet surroundings and nice nature. Wonderful opportunity to observe northern lights in autumn and winter. Nice opportunities for trips. The cabin is located about 4 km from Sorrisniva which is known for the fantastic ice hotel they have in winter and a great restaurant that is open all year round.

Cabin in slalåmbakken Rafsbotn/Alta

In the winter you can take advantage of the slalom slope which is right next door, just put on the slalom skis and start right on the trail or go cross-country skiing in scenic surroundings. It is also a nice and quiet place where you can relax with a good book,TV bonfire outside, etc. The northern lights can be seen often in winter 😀 During summer summertime you can go to the climbing park if it's open. There is plenty of opportunities to hike in the mountains and fields, and in the fall there is a great area for picking berries and mushrooms.

Hytten ligger på et berg bare 50 meter i fra havet med en fantastisk utsikt over Lyngenfjorden med Lyngsalpene i bakgrunn. Utsikten er unik! Hytten ble tatt i bruk i 2016 og har alle fasliteter både for korte og lengre opphold. Hytten er lun og varm, med peis i stuen, varmegulv i alle oppholdsrom og aircondition/varmepumpe. Hele fronten av hytten består av glass fra gulv til tak. Her finner du ro og velvære som gjør godt for kropp og sjel. For ekstra nytelse kan man ta seg ett bad i Jacuzzi.

Parkering: Sommer: ca 70 meter Vinter: ca 500 meter fra hytta. Man må gå ca 500 meter. Gode sko, klær og hodelykt må medbringes.

This is a luxurious outdoor experience in raw Finnmark nature or sit inside in the living room watching the northerns lights through the large windows. If you come from abroad, the easiest way to get here is to fly to Alta and rent a car. Getting from Alta to Kokelv is about 2 hours. You can access by car to the front of the entrance area. The house contains 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds and a TV room with a double sofa bed.
