Relax at this unique and quiet place to stay. Here you can hear the swells of the sea, but also the silence. Here you can rest your eyes on the beautiful horizon and experience the special light that is unique to Varanger. Enjoy arctic climate, wilderness, here nature is right outside the door. Here you get the feeling of being on the high mountain while seeing the sea. The contrasts are big, the weather may surprise. Here you feel that you live. In Skallelv there are 10 permanent residents in winter. 32 km to the nearest store.

Fjord cabin in unique location

Fancy an extraordinary holiday? Use this beautiful and well-equipped cabin as a base for exploring East Finnmark! The cabin is architect-designed, completely private and with panoramic views of the fjord. From here you can get a glimpse of both nise, seals and sea eagles for your morning coffee. The cabin is located in fantastic hiking terrain and with nice fishing waters nearby. There is electricity here, but not water. We suggest practical solutions! Rented for a minimum of 5 days - ask for special offers for shorter stays.

Cheerful Cabin at Nattvann

The cabin is located 200 m from the shared parking lot. There is a cabin with electricity, 3 bedrooms and cinderella toilet. The cabin is spacious and family friendly. There is no running water but water will be put in cans. Night water consists of several good fishing lakes where, among other things, a nice size perch is fished. Great area for those who like hunting, fishing and berry picking. It is possible to book a scooter ride (extra cost) to visit a reindeer herd close to the cabin. This is for January-April.

Simple cabin at Eidevatnet, short road to Nordkapp.

Simple cabin located idyllically by lower Eidevatnet in the middle between Nordkapp and Havøysund. From the cabin it is about 1.5 hours by car to Honningsvåg(Nordkapp). From Lakselv airport it is about 80 minutes by car and 90 minutes from Alta airport. The cabin is located about 150m from the main road, sheltered from other cabins without light pollution. The area is peaceful and offers good berries, northern lights, fishing and hunting opportunities. In winter there are nice skis/snowmobile conditions.

Cozy authentic house from 1931

Charge the batteries at this unique and quiet accommodation outermost of Jarfjorden. The house is located right by the fjord with a big terrace with a lovely view, and on good days, sun from morning to evening. From here you can enjoy the sunset and teeming wildlife. The house has charming crooked doors and floors, sturdy old timber walls and cozy furniture, washer, dryer, stove, shower and fireplace. Cozy apartment in Masi

Relax in quiet Masi, the first floor apartment is close to water, the closest is the fishing water Rougojàvri. Just near the river Màzejohka flows. From Masi there are barmark and winter trails, so both summer and winter it's easy to get in miles in the expanse. The apartment has a large outdoor area shared with the host who uses the apartment on the second floor as a holiday home. Dog and cat welcome. Possibility to add extra beds in large storage room or living room.

This is a luxurious outdoor experience in raw Finnmark nature or sit inside in the living room watching the northerns lights through the large windows. If you come from abroad, the easiest way to get here is to fly to Alta and rent a car. Getting from Alta to Kokelv is about 2 hours. You can access by car to the front of the entrance area. The house contains 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds and a TV room with a double sofa bed.
