Welcome to beautiful Hatcher Pass! Enjoy your stay in this handcrafted space built by Discovery Channel’s star of Homestead Rescue, Marty Raney. This one-of-a-kind build has two-foot thick walls, concrete-stained floor, custom hand-built log furniture including cozy Alaskan spruce log beds & log end tables. A few pictures of this building were sent to Discovery during its construction, piquing their interest, and ultimately securing Marty’s leading roles on Homestead Rescue and Raney Ranch.

Our 2021 constructed craftsmen cottage is nestled in the woods but very close to Palmer. This is a quiet 8 acre parcel but only 5 minutes from breweries, shops and restaurants in downtown Palmer. Close to Hatcher Pass, Independence Mine, Glaciers, Hiking, Musk Ox and Reindeer farms. The owner's house is also on the property and they are available to you throughout your stay. The owners have lived in Alaska for over 40 years and are committed to helping you with all there is to experience!
