With more than 1000 years of history, Nieuwenhoven Castle is located in the heart of Haspengouwe Landscape. With the blossoms, its fruit region, and the cycling route network, a sought-after place for a wonderful vacation! The castle is located in a hidden place, in the middle of nature. We have 4 ha permaculture garden/food forest. There are delicious fresh organic vegetables, honey, fruit, nuts, etc. from our own garden for sale in our farm shop, open sat. and sun. from 1st May to beginning Oct.

This cozy and informal castle from 1840 is located in the Jekervallei in Wallonia, 15 km from the cities of Maastricht, Tongeren, Liège. 't Sjetootje / Château Boirs is located in Boirs, about 1 km from the Antwerp-Luik motorway (E313). From the castle you have a view of the large garden with terraces. We have 10 rooms (30 beds). You can rent bedding or bring your own. The cozy and well-equipped kitchen, the dining room and sitting room are located in the gate building.

Adjacent to the nature reserve of the Mombeek, with a badger reserve, the hiker and nature lover will find what they are looking for here. The typical Haspengouwse rolling landscape invites you to take relaxing walks between the orchards, on foot, by Vespa or by bicycle. Common area: Orangery, heated swimming pool, dressing and shower room

The castle is very quietly located and surrounded by forest, fruit groves, meadows and fields. The ideal departure base for beautiful cycling, walking or vespath tours. But the city lovers will also appreciate the cozy cities of Hasselt, Genk, Liege, Maastricht and Aachen within a radius of 40 km. The castle is divided into several homes including this vacation home. If booked in time, the host can arrange electric rental bikes.

Een 4-sterren B&B: de tuin staat open voor de gasten. Op het gelijkvloers is een ontbijtkamer ingericht, die uitgeeft op de tuin en op de 2de verdieping is gastenkamer ACACIA met een privé luxe badkamer, minibar, twee slaapkamers en een zitkamer. Er is evenwel geen keuken (maaltijden kunnen niet worden klaargemaakt). In de weekends en in het hoog seizoen dienen 2 nachten te worden gereserveerd.
