Monthly Rentals in Flaxton

Was so blessed to come across this AirBnB and have the opportunity to stay at this place. The views here are absolutely gorgeous and Tony and Patty are super lovely who are always keen to help!

Bartek is very friendly and helpful, available if needed but also just allows you to do your own thing. The location just a couple.of minutes drive from Montville is ideal, and it also means you are right in the hinterland and close to all the places and activities there. A well stocked grocery shop ( IGA) is only a couple.of minutes drive towards Mapleton, and has everything needed if you are self catering. I particularly appreciated the free coffee vouchers to use at The Barn on Flaxton, which is very close by and a wonderful cafe.

We felt right at home as soon as we stepped in the door. The house was styled so beautifully, no detail was spared, the warmth of the brick beneath your feet, the soft carpet in the bedrooms, amazing linen for our bed and thick soft towels in the bathroom. The way the light came through the old windows at different times of the day was an added bonus. It was a wonderful cozy home to be in for the very wet weekend we had. We had no issue staying in, where else would you want to be. Playing records, drinking wine and just hanging out was the back to basics weekend we needed.

The accomodation was exactly how we imagined it would be and more, the open living space and back deck were perfect for our group of 10 to socialise and relax. Great experience overall
