Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Large apartment. Close to the city center. Possibility of boat rental for sea fishing. Salmon river nearby. Scenic surroundings with a beautiful garden that just has to be experienced! Here you can relax indoors or outdoors, and maybe have a barbecue meal on one of our terraces with the chickens and ducks. The river Sokna flows right past the garden. Here the kids can swim, and we have fishing rights for salmon here. Ruggesteinen and Linepollen swimming area with sand volleyball court is a 2-minute drive from our house. 5 min drive to KNA Raceway.

Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history. Stue og kjøkken i 1. etg, utgang til bakhage fra kjøkkenet. 2. etg har 2 soverom, bad og liten balkong. Sengene kan ikke deles. Trappen til 2. etg er litt bratt. Det er ikke parkering ved huset, parkeringstillatelse i nærområdet kan kjøpes. SmartTV i stuen. Gjester må bruke egen innlogging for strømmetjenester.
