Dear future guests, Welcome to our stunning duplex apartment! Please note that this was previously our home. Simba and I lived here happily for a while, and everything was custom-made to my liking (first-floor flat). Located a 15-minute walk from the city centre and a 5-minute walk from the train station, I hope this accommodation will offer you a remarkable experience if you are looking for comfort, style and convenience. Please note: there is a beam at the level of the bedroom at 1.70 m.

Our Maisonnette awaits you for a night or more. You can enjoy a pleasant and functional accommodation, refurbished in 2025. The Maisonnette is nestled in the heart of a large, peaceful and shaded garden, on the edge of the forest, crossed by deer. You will appreciate the quiet of the Nièvre countryside, where you will discover excellent local products, the charm of the Loire or the pleasure of a good book in the garden! Disconnection guaranteed: no television in our Maisonnette!

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Surrounded by a pretty flower garden in which you can finally spend a stay away from the tumults of the city, while keeping a quick access to all the amenities 4 km away, our stone house is located 300 m from the vineyard. Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.
