Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

This unique place has a style all its own. This is an old cabin we have decided to let other people enjoy how unique this place is. It’s back to the basics in a not so basic way. You’ll come here to detach from all the noise and just enjoy the peacefulness of the beautiful backyard, grill hang out by the fire pit, eat dinner outside on the covered deck. The propane grill features a side burner to cook outside as well as grilling a couple of steaks. The inside has been tastefully updated.

Corn Crib 1

The Corn Crib(1) cabin, the name corn crib isn't just the name, it's a part of the story and history of the cabins. The corncrib was originally used to dry and store corn. The cabin is located directly beside the two hot tubs on the property. The cabin has a large front porch with rocking chairs, that are perfect for enjoying the fire pit right in front of the cabin. There is a bathroom right inside the cabin, but the showers are in a unique setting, right next to the cabin, in a silo.

Cozy Cabin with Nature Trails

Located in the beautiful Pine Curtain of East Texas, our 15 acres is a great place to find peace and quiet. Walk the nature trails and just relax and forget all your worries. Spend time on the private screened in porch. The yard is shaded by big old trees and includes a hammock for a quick nap or reading a book. We have two dogs (Great Pyrenees) and two cats plus a handful of chickens as well as a garden and fruit orchard. The entire cabin is available to you. Come and go as you please.
