The Bothy is a wonderful place for both r&r and as a base to explore the wilds of Scotland. It’s incredibly peaceful, cosy, and well located. There are plenty of walks that leave from the front door, as well as some beautiful longer walks a short car ride or cycle away. Susannah was a wonderful host and kept in touch which was much appreciated. Definitely stay here if you can!

We had a lovely stay—everything was super clean, comfortable, and just as described. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break, and we really enjoyed the sauna. Great walks from the cottage too and scenery. WiFi was great and cottage had everything you needed , including a first aid kit and toys for kids etc lots of extra touches. A couple of small things to note: The grass could have used a quick cut, but that’s a small thing and didn’t take away from the overall experience and the BBQ was also a little rusty inside and could use a clean, though we had brought a disposable one just in case. Overall, it’s a great spot and we’d be more than happy to return and recommend it!

We went in autumn and the colours on the trees were beautiful. The cottage was homely and the hot tub a bonus after a long days walk. We definately will book again thank you for a lovely comfortable stay

We had the most wonderful few days at The Brewland’s Clover Cottage. The location is beautiful. Tucked between green rolling hills and a charming little stream…the stone cottage was everything we had hoped for in a country escape. Arrived on a rainy afternoon to find the home tidy and warm. Biscuits were left on the table, along with plenty of information on the estate and activities in the area. Spent our days enjoying nature walks, charting the red squirrels, and enjoying meals by the wood fire. A day trip to Balmoral Castle provided a beautiful drive through the national park lands. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and lovely way to end a busy day of exploring. We can’t wait to return!
