The apartment is on the second floor of a grade 2 listed building which until 1973 was a butchers run and owned by the Taylor family. Ideally situated to explore the beautiful Kent countryside by foot, cycle or car. 10 mins from Channel Tunnel, 20 mins from the Port of Dover and Canterbury. 10 mins from Folkestone West Station for the high speed train to London, which takes 55 mins, and 25 mins to Ashford and the Outlet Shopping Centre. The Stable is not suitable for babies or children.

Lyminge is five miles from the seaside in Hythe. It has a Chemist, Doctors' surgery, a village store, Chinese restaurant, Indian take-way, a Tea Room - which does very nice breakfasts . There are 2 good pubs nearby - the Gatekeeper in Etchinghill and the Tiger in Stowting. Dogs are welcome - one medium size or two small ones.
