Holiday rentals in Fontaine-lès-Vervins

We had a great Christmas weekend with the family. 10 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. Since the outside temperature was below zero degrees, there was a small problem with the heating but Eléonore was very responsive and allowed us to warm up quickly. The house is full of charm and each room is decorated with great taste in a vintage spirit. The garden is beautiful, although we could not enjoy it given the winter temperature but we could imagine this same stay in summer, maybe we will come back to it....

Great house with plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Felt really at home and was very well looked after. Christian lit the fire every afternoon while I was at work and the house was warm and welcoming when I got home. The bed made me think it’s time to change my own. Slept very well there.

We had an exceptional stay in this beautiful country house, perfectly suited for a group of 10 people. The setting is idyllic, surrounded by nature. The house is spacious, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The rooms are comfortable, the common areas warm, and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare good group meals. Special mention for the outdoors: a large garden with a large lake, ideal for relaxing, and a terrace perfect for alfresco dining. Hosts are very welcoming, responsive, and concerned about the well-being of their guests. We recommend this house without a second thought and will be happy to come back!

Hugues welcomed us very warmly, my grandson was able to see the cows, calves, pigs. We had a very generous lunch offered by Hugues with excellent farm products. I would highly recommend staying there with or without children to get away from it all. Wonderful stay thank you Hugues

Very nice cottage in a nice, soothing setting, surrounded by animals. Pleasant stay, do not hesitate!

Very nice cottage for large groups with children (games, blillard, kicker, garden hut are great). Recommended village for lovers of forest walks in remote places. The cottage is clean and as described. Rare in cottages: storage space for your groceries and equipment! Small downsides: the bedrooms on the 2nd (family suite) fully open and lack of hot water if everyone is showering at the same time. Nothing catastrophic, I highly recommend this cottage.

We had wonderful days in this beautiful cottage. The front garden, where the terrace is on, lies on the provincial road where a lot of traffic comes over, so it is not really quiet outside. If you're inside, it doesn't really bother you. Isabel is a dune sweet person, and via Google translate we could understand each other well. Unfortunately, the WiFi didn't work.

We stayed for a week in Frédéric's cozy gite. The gite has all the comforts and is very tastefully decorated, with school as a theme. In the street behind the gite is an excellent bakery. From the gite you can make nice trips to Laon, Soisson and Reim. The castle of Pierrefonds is also worthwhile. Frédéric gave us a lot of nice tips and was a very responsive, friendly host.
