Centrally located only one mile from town, and lake Santeetlah, 5 miles from the Cherohala Skyway and 18 beautiful, lake-laced miles from deals gap where you will begin your great dragon slaying adventure. Feels like home. Comfortable and convenient. Fully equipped for a pleasant stay.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

Our cozy mountain home has breathtaking views of Smoky Mountain National Park from all main living spaces. With two living rooms, large outdoor deck, and nearly 1.5 acres, there is no shortage of space to spread out. This home is nestled just a short drive up the mountain from Fontana Village resort/marina and 10 miles from the Tail of the Dragon. It includes a carport and is easily accessible by paved roads and a circular paved driveway.
