Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Fontane Bianche

We really enjoyed the stay in the apartment. The apartment is very spacious, decorated with style and it is ideally located on an narrow and quiet street on the Ortigia. The hosts were very friedly on arrival, recommended great restaurants and always responded very quickly and kindly during our stay. The flat feels like home and was perfectly clean. The sunlight shines beautifully through the flat all day long and in the evening you can watch the beautiful sunset from one of the bedrooms. We hope, we will be able to come back one day.

If you want some peace and tranquility then this the place to go. Set high in the beauty of an olive grove the views are stunning and this stand alone property has sun and shade to enjoy it all. It is away from outside life and the driveway is quite long and is a track not a road but it’s worth the drive. There isn’t an oven inside so be aware when buying food in. You are not too far away from all the major towns. Noto is lovely and around 20 mins away and Syracuse which we loved was around 45 mins. Lorenzo was quick to communicate and the olive oil he makes is recommended and an ideal gift to take back home! Totally recommended!!!

An absolute gem right in the center of beautiful Noto! As a family of four, it was the perfect accommodation with lots of room to spread out and cook comfortably when we wanted to have a meal at home. Street parking can be a little challenging depending on the time of day, but we were always able to get a spot with some persistence. We suggest following the house recommendations for beach destinations and local food...both we highlights of our trip.

This place is really outstanding. We were a group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) and had plenty of space and bathrooms. The house is beautifully decorated, modern, and has a well-equipped kitchen. It is 15 min from Noto. We used it as a base to visit Noto, Siracusa, Ragusa/Modica, and the nearby town of Marzamemi. The house is in the country but we found it easy to travel to these nearby towns. The host was excellent and we followed several of the recommendations, which were all excellent. Overall we had an amazing time. We highly recommend this place!

Het huis van Marion is prachtig! Een mooie verzorgde inrichting en een spectaculair uitzicht... Het huis zag er in het echt nog beter en ruimer uit dan op de foto's. We hebben er heerlijk kunnen ontspannen en genoten van de rust. De communicatie met Marion verliep heel vlot. Ze reageerde snel en duidelijk op onze vragen. Vanuit Vizzini hebben we verschillende bezienswaardigheden en dorpjes bezocht in het zuiden van Sicilië, maar we hadden de afstanden en tijd wat onderschat door de kleine heuvelachtige wegen. In Vizzini zelf was er weinig te beleven of waren er weinig gezellige restaurants.

Die Wohnung hat uns auf Anhieb sehr gefallen. Sie ist groß und bietet auf 2 Stockwerken viel Platz. Es gibt 2 Badezimmer jeweils mit Dusche, WC und Bidet. Ein Luxus! Auch die obere Terrasse ist groß, mit Ausblick auf das Meer, das in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen ist. In der Nähe befinden sich Lokale, Cafés und das beste Eisgeschäft Siziliens, Don Peppinu :) Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war angenehm und unkompliziert. Ich kann die Unterkunft wirklich sehr weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der schönen und grossen Villa von Francesco sehr genossen. Sowohl die Villa, wie auch der phantastische Pool waren blitzsauber. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig und angenehm und die Lage ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge in die Umgebung. Die Villa ist somit sehr zu empfehlen!

First, Sebastiano was always really responsive - even prior to reservation he was giving us suggestions on location and parking. As we were arriving by car and Ortegia is quite busy on weekend evenings, Sebastiano was waiting for us on a free parking spot 100 m away from the appartment. Very friendly and helpful. App is very nice, clean and offers everything you need. Even more. Location is just great, 50 m from the local market and nice seafood restaurants. What we lived the most is the panino shop with EXCELLENT sandwiches that we enjoyed every sinle morning. Must try! Parking was easy to find on other days (Mon-Thu). If I have to find something that wasn't good - the bikes on the street are really noisy during the night... but that is not something that the owners can manage. Other than that... 10/10. Recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a very beautiful apartment and was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The garden was amazing with a nice view of the church and we enjoyed our time outside. Lorenzo was very helpful and gave us great instructions and local recommendations. The beds were super comfortable too. The location was great for walking into town and we walked everywhere. Lots of convenient parking nearby on the main road. A superb Airbnb.

We had a wonderful stay at Massimo & Danila’s house, which is an architectural gem filled with beautiful details and personal touches. Even in the winter time it was very warm and the fireplace added to the feeling of comfort. We loved the peace and quiet that the house radiates, as well as the surrounding sand dunes and beautiful beaches. Thank you for making our stay so magical & we hope to return.

The apt was exactly as shown in the pictures— great location, great space, in the heart of Ortygia with lots to do. Gisella and the on site manager were responsive and helpful. Perfect stay!

Wir hatten als Familie mit 2 Kindern einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und alles war wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Die Terrasse zum Meer ist wirklich ein Traum. Toller Sonnenaufgang jeden Morgen. Trotz der ruhigen Lage sehr zentral zum Ortskern mit allen Restaurants und die tollen Strände in nahegelegenen Naturschutzgebiet sind auch nicht weit mit dem Auto (10-15min). Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen, sie hat unseren Sizilienaufenthalt bereichert!

One of the best places we have been.. The villa is super cozy and you feel right at home! Also, Federico is a great host, he was always responsive and helpful, and gave us useful recommendations on the dining and things to do in the area. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Villa was one of our best AirBNB experiences ever! Elisa is so hospitable and kind, was always ready to advise! Elisa assisted with transfer, ordered us pizza when we arrived (flight was delayed and it was already too late to go for dinner). Villa is a large and beautiful place for stay, so clean, with everything could be needed during vacation! Location is perfect especially if you have a car- 2 minute drive or 19 minute walk from beautiful sand beach (perfect for children!), product shops also close. For fish and seafood -10 minute drive. Amazing Siracuse for evening walks -20 minute drive. If you are searching for great sea experience at Sicily - no doubts that Villa will be the right choice! Elisa, thank you ♥️

Appartement extrêmement bien situé et confortable. La terrasse tout en haut est exceptionnelle, dans la pointe d’Ortigia avec une vue sur la mer à 360 degrés à couper le souffle. Il faudra monter les 3 étages sans ascenseur (à déconseiller aux personnes ayant des difficultés à monter autant de marches) pour entrer dans un lieu à l’atmosphère très agréable, on se sent vite chez soi. L’agencement est assez spécial, il faut parfois se baisser pour entrer dans la chambre ou sur la terrasse, mais on s’habitue. Hôte très sympathique qui a donné de bons conseils et nous a laissé profiter de quelques heures supplémentaires le dernier jour car il n’y avait personne juste après. Le seul petit point négatif est le manque de volets et d’obscurité dans la chambre du bas, prévoir un masque de nuit si on a besoin de dormir dans le noir.

Ho soggiornato per 7 giorni. Un luogo davvero unico e curato nei minimi dettagli. Hai a disposizione un sacco di spazio per goderti il dopo mare e puoi goderti anche la piscina che viene pulita ogni giorno. Il giardino parla da sé… e la casa ha tutti i confort e accessori necessari. Ottima per famiglie! Mare vicino! Inoltre un ottima posizione perché se in mezzo a tutte le città da visitare come Modica-Noto-Siracusa ecc. Sofia e suo marito sono persone da prendere come esempio, eleganti, in forma e allegri. Chiedete consigli a loro per qualsiasi cosa sopratutto per ristoranti, rosticcerie, gelaterie e posti da visitare. Non vedo l’ora di tornare in quanto innamorato del posto e della Sicilia!

La casa di Manuela è molto bella e spaziosa, il giardino è curatissimo e anche il nostro cagnolino l'ha apprezzato tanto, la veranda è uno spazio stupendo, la piscina anche se piccola è utile per rinfrescarsi in ogni momento, il mare inoltre è veramente a pochissimi passi dalla casa! L'ospitalità di Manuela e l'attenzione per gli ospiti vale però anche più del solo alloggio. Dal grande vassoio di frutta fresca con cui ci ha accolti, a tutto il nécessaire per la colazione, giochi e colori per i bambini, attrezzatura per il mare, non ci ha fatto mancare proprio nulla. Inoltre sia lei che suo padre sono stati prontissimi ad aiutarci con qualsiasi richiesta o dubbio in tempi brevissimi. Torneremo con molto piacere

This is one of the best places we have stayed, with the most beautiful villa set in lovely gardens full of ancient olive trees. The pool and its pavilion and bar were just perfect. Not too far from Modica and Noto, plus excellent beaches at San Lorenzo. Roberto and family were very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend getting Angelica to cook one evening- just the best meal of the trip. Trying to find the place in the dark is not recommended though. The Google map reference given is not quite accurate and there is nothing to indicate you are supposed to drive through next door’s farmyard. But, like getting into heaven, it’s worth it!

We had a wonderful stay at Sabrina’s lovely, comfortable house with its green, spacious garden. It was really decorated with love and attention and we felt incredibly at home. Simply a wonderful holiday house. We were there in low season so the surroundings were quiet. Something we liked but meant we had to take the car if we wanted to go out for dinner. Lovely stay, highly recommended!

Wonderful house! The villa was very spacious, well-equipped and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities you could wish for. The views from every window into the garden and nature are beautiful. Communication with the host as well as all the recommendations for the area were great. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Alles sehr gut. Das Haus ist genial um eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen. Viel Umschwung. Sehr gut für Kinder. Am meisten hat mir die grosse Aussenküche gefallen. Die Nähe zum Strand von Fonte Biance ist auch genial. Alles in allem kan man perfekte Ferien in diesem Haus verbringen.

Pictures cannot really reflect how beautiful this place is! The amazing view from the large terrace shows all the beauty of the rich Sicilian landscape: the sunrise from the sea, Etna with its clouds and always present smoke trace, the cow bells as the only sound you hear …. The house and the garden are made with love and are a perfect place to stay! Many places to visit are within a short drive - great location that allows you full privacy as well as many sight-seeing possibilities. What makes you feel at home from the first moment - are the very welcoming and kind hosts, Grazia and Antonio. They thought of everything when preparing the house for us. They are always available for answering questions and help. Great suggestions for places to see and to eat. Thank you for everything Grazia and Antonio!

We had a good stay at this clean and private place. We had to contact the host several times during our stay due to late check in, accidentally unpaid motorway toll etc. Giuseppe responded promptly and went extra mile to help. Many thanks!

Stunning villa, spacius inside and outside, huge porch with comfortable sofa and tv, private pool with deckchairs for sunbathing. Walking distance to the beach, a short drive to the shop. Perfect fit for 6 people, with lots of kitchen amenities and various glasses to enjoy wine or other sicilian spirits and delicacies.
