The Bear's Den

Enjoy a private home while exploring the western North Carolina beauty. For more, read on. Here's a review left by my most recent guests: Five stars. Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Relax listening to the creek and waterfall. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are less than 10 minutes from downtown Clayton. The charming city has shops, coffee, restaurants, a brewery and Wander North Georgia. Explore a bit farther out to Tallulah Gorge, Black Rock Mountain, Lake Burton and Tiger. Cabin has 1 bedroom and a loft with more beds. Full kitchen and laundry. Close to many activities including white water rafting, hiking, biking, waterfalls and scenic drives. 30 minutes to Highlands for great shopping & Dry Falls!

This unit is one of two available spaces attached to our home with private entrance, bed and bathroom. Easy access off state maintained paved road without sacrificing beautiful mountain views! No stairs to deal with!
