  • Chinatown Walking Tour
San Francisco's Chinatown is the biggest Chinatown outside of Asia. You definitely have to see it before you leave this city! HIGHLIGHTS + Learn about Chinese philosophy, architecture and food + Explore where locals eat, shop and play + Stories about Chinese immigration + Visit Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory + Snack at my favorite Dim Sum place During this tour, I will show you the best parts of Chinatown--where to take the best pictures, where to grab cheap (and delicious) eats, and the most popular place like the Golden Gate fortune cookie! While we explore Chinatown, I will also share my unique perspective, Chinese culture and interactive stories about the history of this neighborhood and what makes it so special in the heart of San Francisco. Prepare your walking shoes and a curious appetite for adventure, and I'm excited to have you on board! ***Other awesome services I offer: Golden Gate Bridge Walking Tour Hike & Meditation in Presidio Forest Click my profile image to check it out! *** Other things to note Please be on time

  • Hidden Stairways of San Francisco
The perfect experience for the whole family! This breathtaking 2 mile walking tour of San Francisco's hidden stairways is the #1 rated Airbnb Experience in the Bay Area, loved by both locals and tourists alike. See gorgeous mosaic tiled steps and hear the stories behind them, then take in stunning 360° views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park and downtown San Francisco. You'll also discover beautiful neighborhoods and gardens that many locals are not aware of and that tourists rarely see. Oh, and you might even go home with a succulent! I'll provide commentary, context and some history along the way. Generally SF is dry May-October. There can be fog in the summertime, mostly in the morning. Temps rarely above 70F (21C) or below 50F (10C). Rain may cancel. Guests should be reasonably fit. Though we don't cover many miles, some of the terrain is steep. It will be necessary to carry small children as strollers are not suitable. If you bring a guest that’s under 18, it’s your responsibility to make sure the activities they participate in are age-appropriate. Instagram: @hiddenstairsSF or hiddenstairsSF@gmail.com

  • Pottery in the Mission
We will start with some of the interesting history of the studio space. Then I will get you situated on the wheel and show you how to properly secure your lump of clay. After the clay is secured we start the wheel spinning nice and fast. I will show you how to center the clay which is a very important (and frustrating) stage of making pottery on the wheel. After we successfully center the clay, you will explore how the clay moves and reacts to your touch. We will work to form a simple shape such as a bowl or cup. To finish off we will do some clean up of the form and remove the piece from the wheel in order to start experimenting with the next piece. You can expect to get to practice with around 6 lumps of clay (more if you are ambitious) and most people will create 2-3 pieces by the end of the session. Pieces will be professionally finished, fired, and glazed after the experience. This process takes at least 3 weeks. After the pieces are finished you can pickup in the studio or they can be shipped. Shipping costs are paid by the guest. Other things to note Come wearing clothes that you don't mind getting messy. We will provide aprons. If you have long hair plan to have a hair tie or a way to secure your hair back. Trim long nails if you are able.
