● Attractions: Guest house Tsuguya includes 2 meals per night. Dinner includes A5 grade Hida beef yakiniku (Hida beef is 200g per person, can be added for a separate fee), miso soup, and rice. Breakfast is homemade egg sandwiches, coffee and salad. You can also use the BBQ corner. On sunny days, why not cycle on the country roads with a rental bicycle? At night you can see the starry sky and in early summer you can see fireflies. If you want to go further, it takes about 3 hours to get to the World Heritage Shirakawa-go and about 2 hours to get to the popular Takayama. You can bring your own alcohol, so why not plan your next day after dinner while looking at the garden and the night sky? ● Access: By train: From JR Nagoya station, take the Tokaido main line and get off at Hozumi station. Take the Gifu bus and get off at Kuro Hachiman stop. 10 minutes on foot There are also buses from JR Gifu and Ogaki stations. If you contact us in advance of your arrival time at JR Hozumi Station, we can pick you up. ● House Rules: Because it is a guest house, you cannot make noise at night. An old private house surrounded by rivers and forests, limited to one group per day. Here, you can enjoy your stay surrounded by sound, fire, water and stars. The music room has a grand piano, drums, guitar, and bass. During the pizza oven experience (separate charge), you’ll bake authentic Neapolitan pizza, and in the evening, you’ll enjoy a BBQ and sit around a bonfire while gazing at the starry sky and the Milky Way. In summer, you can play in the nearby river and unwind in nature with a tent sauna (additional charge). You can cook together in the fully equipped, former café kitchen, read quietly in the library, or… You can spend your "favourite time" freely. The bath is a ceramic tub made of Shigaraki ware. Please relax your mind and body slowly, while wrapped in the warmth of the fire lit with firewood and the scent of cypress. Spend time in your own space, not in a hotel, where no one will disturb you. Enjoy your time. A transfer service to and from the nearest station is also available. Just to let you know, there are a few options available. This inn is located in the middle of Mt. Hatago, overlooking the cityscape of Tsuruga City, and offers a limited one-day agricultural and horseback riding experience. Freshly laid eggs are harvested and breakfast is served at the farm cafe with rice cooked in a kamado or an omelet made by the host. We renovated the old house to make it even more comfortable while retaining the good qualities of a Japanese house, such as the Japanese-style room and veranda. We run a farm that practices animal welfare, which is rare in the country. Spend a relaxing time on a nature-rich farm with pony riding (for junior high school students and younger), walking, and interacting with animals (chickens, goats, ponies). Mitafu is located in a quiet place surrounded by the temples and shrines of Wakasa, An old private house where you can feel the warmth of home. You can spend time slowly calming your mind and body in the unique scenery and clear air of the countryside. Wakasa Hikomi Shrine, known as Wakasa Ichinomiya, is a 2-minute walk away.We also recommend that you take a leisurely stroll and visit the shrine in the quiet morning hours.Wakasa Hime Shrine is about a 15-minute walk away. In addition, Jinguji Temple, known for its "water delivery", is also nearby, and is highly recommended as a place to reset your mind. In winter, you can use the wood-burning stove.We also recommend spending some time quietly while gazing at the fire.

New house, near Gifu station

Property is a brand new built house centrally located near Gifu station and easy to reach by foot or bus. You can walk ( 20min ) or use Bus ( 10min) or, if You announce in time and I am available, I may be able to pick you up from station by car. I have 3 bed rooms. Two normal bed room and one Tatami room. There are very nice Fire works 2 times a year end of July and beginning of August; also I can rent and dress You up in colorful Kimonos (￥4500) as shown in the pictures for photo-shooting.
