Located between Onomichi, Masanoura and Shimanamikaido, this is the perfect place to stay for sightseeing in the Seto Inland Sea.　　　 Across the beautiful curve bridge, the villa is elevated on the southern slopes of the island. This private, entire home has a large wooden deck overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the sea and the island. If the timing is right, you can also encounter a magical sunset dyeing the sky and the sea in red. Because it is an old house, there are steep stairs (with handrails) and steps. We appreciate your understanding and caution if you have small children or have difficulty walking. If necessary, please purchase them at a nearby convenience store or bring them with you. ※ There is no TV. There are some books and internet, so please enjoy a relaxing time.

Kusunoura Beachside Inn Gidan

A small, private inn in the historic and quiet port town of Shinoura, where you can stay at a reasonable price. The host renovated the house where they spent their childhood summer holidays and opened it in January 2026. It is conveniently located a 2-minute walk from the bus stop along the sea and a 1-minute walk from the convenience store, making it an ideal base for strolling around Isanoura. From the second floor, you can see the calm sea of the Seto Inland Sea and the nearby islands. There is also a workspace with Wi-Fi where you can work on your PC, making it ideal for workations. There is no parking lot, so please use the nearby coin parking. The accommodation fee includes the Hiroshima Prefecture accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night).

We renovated the villa, which was built in the early Showa era and has one of the best views in Onomichi, to be easy to use and functional. While keeping the beauty of the traditional house, we have added comfortable modern innovations to create a space where you can enjoy the nostalgic and good traditional culture of Japan.

Tokuto is a newly renovated private mansion built in the 1940s on Teshima. It is conveniently located about 15mins walk from Ieura Port. Enjoy the luxurious architecture of the past, such as the authentic hand blown window glass, Onigawara (Japanese gargoyle roof tiles), and the beautiful gardens with an abundance of stone lanterns. The building consists of 2 villas, King Villa & Queen Villa. As a measure against infectious diseases, we accept one group for each building.

“YUI” at Teshima in Seto Inland Sea offers accommodation in a renovated old Japanese folk house, completed with a veranda and a garden, located in Ieura. Exclusively for rent of the entire house. It's located 10-min-walk away from the port and tucked away on side street. *Simple breakfast with some bread & coffee/tea are included. We can arrange a restaurant booking for dinner as needed basis. *Staff will meet up to check-in and pick-up service is available.
