An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, where you can enjoy peace and quiet. Our guests can use our boat and canoe freely, or enjoy the jetty with swimming, fishing and fire pit. You can cycle, go on mountain hikes right out of the farm, roam in the woods, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn, you can pick mushrooms and berries. It takes 10 minutes to drive from the farm to the high mountains, and from the parking lot about an hour's walk to Langsua National Park.

Idyllic and peaceful

Here you can really relax, in peaceful and idyllic surroundings. The cabin is secluded without neighbors, with forest around and a lake just below. Guests who rent the cabin have access to a rowing boat, and there are good chances of catching fish in the water for those who are happy to fish. There are many opportunities for nice trips either on foot or by bike. The place is perfect for families with children. There is both a zipline and a swing right by the cabin, in addition to the forest and the water, which offers many opportunities for play.

At Toppastranda, your family can live near everything Gålå has to offer. The cabin is a simple charming fancy that has everything you need. It is located by the road, well sheltered with stunning views of Gålåvatnet and Jotunheimen. The cabin is centrally located for both summer and winter activities. Gålå is a great family destination with lots of activities for the whole family. The place is especially famous for a long ski season with good ski slopes, the Peer-gynt game, and lots of opportunities on the bike in the summer.

Our substantial portion of a two-room dwelling in quiet surroundings is rented out to law enforcement. The home is 45sqm, of older standard but very functional and cared for, with recently renovated surfaces in 2019. Large terrace with fantastic views of Gålåvatnet and Jotunheimen. The cottage has an open solution with kitchen/dining/living room, bathroom, hallway, two small bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two single beds, as well as cozy loft with sleeping space and double sofa bed in the living room.

In this place, your family can stay close to everything on the street, the location is central. Ski in/out on alpine, short way to Gålå trade, ski slopes right outside, short way to Gålåvannet and Per Gynt game. Short distance to hiking trails and outdoor experiences. There is a large fenced outdoor area and a house rack. There are two cabins on the site, large outdoor area. The cabin has three bedrooms, a room with two slightly shorter beds, (not suitable for adults). Own outdoor furniture and seating area.

Access to the high mountains of Rondane and Jotunheimen is about 1 hour drive. The cottage is a short walk away from Gålå grocery store with year-round operations, and cafe and high mountain hotel just nearby.
