Rural Getaway in New Galloway

Kirkbrae is a beautiful victorian granite house, hosting guest accommodation which consists of a private area within the main house, including a bedroom, private bathroom and sitting area. Access is through a private external door and internal stairs leading to the first floor space. Amenities include parking, wifi and tea/coffee making facilities. Our peaceful location is within walking distance of a local community owned grocery store, Post Office, cafe and a theatre within New Galloway.

Kelpies Cottage is a cosy two-bed bungalow in Glentrool, the only village in Galloway Forest Dark Skies Park. It's a beautiful, peaceful, rural location. You can expect awesome starry skies, and if you're lucky, maybe even the Aurora. Glentrool is all about the outdoors, with plenty of biking, wild swimming and walking nearby. We are right in the heart of the stunning Galloway Forest and part of the UNESCO designated Biosphere, with trees, streams, lochs and mountains right on the doorstep.

Our huts are bespoke ‘off grid’ Shepherds huts located in idyllic surroundings on the banks of unspoilt Loch Ken, SW Scotland Enjoy the simple pleasures of slow living in our eco-friendly huts, spend the evening watching the sunset over the loch from the deck or outdoor fire pit at the edge of the loch. Shore Escape is a self-catering, coastal, family-run, handcrafted retreat with sea views and a stones throw from the shore line of Carsluith Bay. It is situated on the edge of the UK's first Dark Sky Park and situated on the South Coast 300 route. The spacious, well-equipped yurt is tucked away in a large private home garden in a beautiful glen, with Scaur Water on the doorstep. The Yurt at Craignee is a snug (but surprisingly spacious), off-grid retreat, with wood burner and garden, surrounded by peace and wildlife. Wigtown, Beautiful solar powered Yurt

Dumfries and Galloway dark skies park is a stunning location to get away from it all on our eco friendly off grid small holding. The yurt is solar powered with 12vt lights and has a wood burning stove, shower room and composting toilet. The yurt has a double bed and three singles (all with down duvets) so sleeps 4 x1 or 1x2 and 3x1 . The chemical free, DIY hottub is very private and for the exclusive use of our guests, only available for bookings of 3 nights or longer
