Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Nearest cabin area is Gamlestølen with alpine slope, cross country tracks and restaurant. Very nice hiking in the area both around the cabin and in Etnedal itself, Valdres. Here you can take both long and short trips, bicycle. In winter it is possible to go cross country skiing. There are lots of blueberries right by the cabin. The cottage itself is very well equipped, has everything you need for everyday life.

The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
