Can Banal is a 16th century catalan farm house locally called masia that has been restored into three independent livings. During the summer we run a camp-site on the terraces below the main house. The Terracotta Apartment... · Is a 60 m2 large room, suitable max 7 persons – preferently a large family. · There is a double bed (160cm), a bunk bed and a bed-sofa. · The kitchen is equipped with gas cooking-stove, micro-wave and an extractor. · It has a large furnished balcony with a pleasant view. · Central heating and tv&wifi. There are all the facilities for an own supported stay (sheets, towels, kitchen-tools, household items) · It is a good reunion room for medium size groups. · The entrance to the house will be shared with us. The landscape around Can Banal is in a rural and peaceful environment with rivers and forests that changes colors depending on the season. In autumn there are varieties of mushrooms and in spring many types of orquids and butterflies to enjoy. It is situated between a triangle area composted by the villages Montagut, Castelfullit de la Roca and Oix. Located midway between the sea (45 min) and the high mountains of the Pyrenees (1h) makes it possible for many types of day-trips like Besalu, the Garrotxa Volcanic Park, Oix or Olot. Within a 6 km drive, Sadernes can be reached, from where the wonderful trekking path towards Sant Aniol d'Aguja starts. Just staying around in Can Banal you'll find enough to do for few days. Walk our own signed trails along water creeks, fields, forests, hermitage, farms and villages round us. We have mountain bike’s to rent and in a 25' walk one can go swimming in the fabulous river gorge under a romanic bridge “el Pont de Llierca”. We will be your neighbours and are always happy to advise you on your travel plans and help you out with information that not always appears in tourist-guides. If you enjoy organic and local produce, we can help you out where to find it. We always have in stock frozen homemade soup and bread as an easy snack. No public transport will reach CB but in the case you do not have your own transport, we can offer a taxi-service, picking you up by the nearest bus-stop (Trencat Montagut, 6 km away). The last km are well paved for those coming by car and pleasantly shaded for those reaching us by bike or walking... Mas Costa

Surrounded by forested hills and fields, this is a perfect location for anyone who loves nature and tranquility. The area is famous for its bike paths, numerous hiking trails, birdwatching and historical landmarks. We also live on the property, in the small detached house. The surrounding area is shared with our family as we attend our vegetable gardens and care for the animals. Parties and events with loud music and excessive alcohol are strictly forbidden, as it is not suited or acceptable.

Loft in a rural setting with spectacular views

We offer you accommodation in a rural environment where you can enjoy spectacular views while taking a dip in the pool. The place is very quiet and the loft has just been renovated, keeping the rustic and practical essence at the same time. It has a ground floor with direct exit to the courtyard with kitchen, bathroom and living room and an open first floor with a double bed. The patio is great for hanging out a breakfast or dinner in the cool. The pool is shared with us. NO BARBECUES ALLOWED

Planeses is a centuries-old farmhouse of La Garrotxa, near Besalú, surrounded by pastures and nature, where animals graze and breed ecologically. The accommodation is located on the ground floor. Garden for guests. Farm products. Very good situation to visit the area (Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa, Olot, Banyoles, Figueres). For visiting medieval villages and towns, the volcanic area of the Garrotxa , Girona city, the Mediterranean sea, great local food. Hiking and cycling routes are varied and offer different levels of difficulty. Our house is good for people who want to reconnect with nature, do sport. For couples, families and friends to get together .

Rural apartment with pool. (Garrotxa)

This building is part of an old Catalan farmhouse dating back to the early 15th century. It has been renovated in several phases, the last one in 2018. Taking advantage of the perimeter of the main house, the renovation has resulted in an apartment attached to a swimming pool and an attached two-story house. The house and garden complex, plus the surrounding forest, could be defined as a combination of medieval civil architecture, updated with modern materials and design details.

La Carança, mountain house. Calm and nature!

Beautiful 17th-century renovated house, spanning 3 floors with over 100m². Perched at 1400m and facing south, it features a large, very flowery garden and a breathtaking view of the valley, Canigou, and the Carança massifs. Ideal for disconnecting! Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe. Numerous hiking or mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Our hamlet enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located 40 minutes from the ski slopes and one hour from the sea.

Cozy space in the mountains

Beautiful wooden cabin in the mountains at the foot of Sant Julia, on a beautiful hillside with lots of vegetation and views of the Pyrenees, from which you can see Coma Negra Canigu and a wide panorama of the northern part of the GARROTXA. Near Sant Jaume de Llierca, it is accessed by a 6 km track, altitude 500m, it is a great area for all kinds of excursions, there is a river nearby with crystal clear pools and in an hour you can sunbathe on the beach, Costa Brava.

Can Roure, Jordà's Beech Forest

Can Roure is a farmhouse built in the 18th century, located in a sunny valley within the Fageda d'en Jordà. The apartment is on the ground floor of the house, has a separate entrance, ideal for four people with an additional double sofa bed that allows up to 6 people. It is designed to enjoy outdoor life, in the middle of nature, without roads or cars nearby, it has a swimming pool and barbecue. It includes bed linen, towels and a washer and dryer for long stays.

The Mill of Besalú (House with garden)

The only isolated holiday accommodation house in the beautiful historic complex of the medieval town of Besalú, considered one of the most beautiful towns in the country. The former home of the miller's family has three exterior spaces (porch, garden and large orchard) and two floors: the lower one with a living/dining room and open kitchen and the upper one with a bathroom and three bedrooms.
