Cozy cottage by Källsjö – sauna, boat & close to nature

Please note that the accommodation lacks high voltage and a shower, but is located by a spring lake with clean and fresh water that is well suited for washing and hygiene. The cottage is only powered by 12-volt electricity for simpler lighting, which means limited electrical capacity. However, it is possible to charge mobile phones via sockets. The following assets: Wood for sauna Drinking water in cans Bed linen (guests are welcome to bring their own if desired) Outhouse Small grill Rowboat The Canoe The accommodation is suitable for max 2 people.

Cabin by Testeboån

The cottage is located right by Testeboån, about 2 meters from the veranda. It is possible to both swim and fish, or sit in the sunset and look out on the water. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a stay. Wi-Fi, TV and parking are included. It is possible to borrow a washing machine, charge an electric car or rent the sauna, for a small fee. If you want to visit Gävle, there are bike paths, or you can take the bus from the bus stop, which is within 200 meters. During the summer, we sell vegetables.

In Bergby, a small village between Gävle & Söderhamn you'll find this cabin. With only a couple of minutes from the highway E4 you will take yourself to this peaceful getaway faster than a blink. As our guest you are close to restaurants, stores and the amazing nature life this village offers. The cabin offers a big kitchen, WC with shower & washing machine and a lot of social spaces. Three adults sleep comfortable and extra beds can be provided upon request. Towels and bedsheets is included.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Lake cabin with all the amenities by the fishing lake.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunrise is an extra plus. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away. 2-4 kicks are available to borrow.

Cottage nearby sea and forest.

10 min walking distance from the sea. 1 café, 1 restaurant open during the summer and weekends. 2-3 minute walk to bus stop. 10 minutes by car to golfcourse (with restaurant). Cyclepath all the way in to Gävle city. Towels and cleaning is included in price. Parking in the yard. Pets are welcome but not in the beds. Beds are ready when you arrive. Center: 3 rooms apartment with kitchen & bathroom

Welcome to the renovated apartment (2022) in the heart of Gavle, located in a quiet area (called South). Just few minutes walking distance, you’ll find shops, restaurants, the Concert Hall, Leisure center, a children’s playground and a very popular and beautiful park called “The Boulogne park”. Children over 7 y o are welcome.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Close to nature but still not far from society. The cottage is located on the outskirts of a village where the forest takes over. 4 km to the nearest store and 10 km into the city of Sandviken. Nice berries and mushroom spots nearby.
