Family-friendly holiday rentals in Genesee County

Comfortable home in a GORGEOUS spot! This was our first visit to the finger lakes, and Jess’s spot was perfect. We loved sitting on the dock and taking in the views. Plenty of space, and really comfortable- especially with so many outdoor sitting areas. It was a perfect place!

This is our fourth time staying at this house and it is our favorite, we come to Rochester twice a year for family gatherings, the only reason we stay anywhere else is if Ambers house is not available on our dates. Amber is a fabulous host, communicative from start to finish.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary & Brock’s. The home is beautiful and their backyard is stunning. They had bird feeders and it was like a bird sanctuary! I have never seen such a variety of birds which was so fun. We were there during the Fourth of July and we were actually able to see some of the fireworks from their front porch! Their place was clean and very comfortable. Mary was responsive and communicative throughout the experience. Thank you Marion Brock for letting us stay at your home!

5th time staying here. Fabulous place to stay! Walkable distance to food places. Only con was bathtub was a little dirty.

It was a lovely Airbnb…just like the pictures Depicted. It was well stocked except that you need to bring your own soap for the shower. There are plenty of brand stores on Monroe Ave. if your need to purchase anything. Location is perfect and very convenient. Will definitely return again when visiting Rochester.

This is a cozy, comfortable house. A quiet neighborhood but close to things to do in Rochester. Trina is a great host. I would stay here again.

Beautiful home and amazing property! The house is incredible, and we especially enjoyed the views, peace, and quiet. When we had a minor problem related to the extreme cold, Rebekah responded immediately and came over to fix it within the hour even though it was right before the holiday. She was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We definitely recommend and will be staying here again whenever we are in the area!

excellent hosts. very responsive, friendly and always available to help! place is right in center of pittsford easy to walk into town. when we weren’t out, we watched tv on a extremely comfortable couch. bedrooms clean and comfortable. this is gem hard to get. if available. book it!

Location is great, 5-15 min drive to tons of restaurants and breweries. There were 8 adults and 2 dogs, lots of room for all of us. Beds were comfy. Lots of kitchen utensils, regular coffee maker and Keurig and coffee was supplied. We had a couple of issues while we were there, upstairs heat not working, basement bathroom toilet leaking, Shaun was very quick to respond and to send someone out. Firewood for the fire pit is provided and we enjoyed the outdoor space. Game room was great, bar, full fridge, arcade games and foosball table to keep you entertained. The stairs take a little getting used to as they are higher steps than normal. Overall we had an amazing time and are looking forward to going back!! Thank you Shaun and Suzie!

Roger is a great host. He is very friendly and I could have talked to him for hours, but we had wedding events to attend. When we needed something and could not find it, Roger quickly responded to let us know where we could find it. The house is charming and remind me of my grandparents place with quanlity workmanship of yesterday. Even though the place was historic it had all the amenities and comforts of home. We frequently travel and this has consistently been the best place to stay in the Rochester area.

We loved staying at Mark's place with our three dogs. The house gave the dogs plenty of space to explore and lots of windows to look out of. The park directly across the street was very convenient for dog walks. The kitchen was well stocked and immaculate and the family room had very comfortable furniture and lots of light. The entire home had lots of character. Mark was extremely responsive to questions and even met us at the house at check in to show us around. It was a lovely personal touch. I highly recommend Mark's house to families visiting the Penfield/Rochester area.

I don’t even know where to start. Super comfy, super clean, Richard and Susan really love their home and it shows. There’s a calmness and peacefulness as you walk in. My partner and I enjoyed this weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Thank you Richard and Susan for allowing us to unwind this weekend!! Carol’s place was beautiful! The pool was a nice bonus and it wasn’t too far from the falls! Carol was seriously, hands downs thee coolest airbnb host I’ve encountered yet!!! She was so funny and engaged when I had questions on how far things were or her recommendations on things to do nearby! I will def be back, if not to stay in her beautiful airbnb it will be to hang out with her!!! Thanks sooo much Carol! My sister and I had a blast and you made it 1000x funner!
