Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Giardini Naxos

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

My wife, 13 year old daughter and I stayed at this house for 10 days in April 2025. The house was very clean and it was appreciated that there are amenities such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, water, etc. in the house on our arrival. The beds are noted as two singles and two doubles but we felt that the bed sizes were larger. The third floor appears to have a king bed and the 2nd floor has a queen bed. Also, it is clear that the owner spent money on nice mattresses as the beds were very comfortable and hotel quality. We were very pleased with the hot water in the house. We never ran out of hot water in the shower and the water was very hot. Also, we used the washing machine and this worked well for us. The instructions and information provided by the owner were detailed and thorough. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations. We did not use the air conditioner or the heater but there are five in the house. The house was clean and we would stay here again. Thank you!

We had a great 4 days at Lorenzo’s place. The location was even better that we imagined with being right at the beach and less than a 5 minute walk to the cable cart which took you right into the town centre. We could no have asked for a better location. The apartment had everything we needed and there were no issues.

Lele is an excellent hostess. The place matches the description perfectly. She has thoughtfully prepared a detailed instruction book with all the information we might need. Additionally, she provided us with plenty of helpful parking tips.

Anita is a great host. The apartment is amazing. Great location in the city centre. Spotlessly clean. 2 balconies, small back garden. Well ecquipped. A few minutes to the parking ( porta catania)

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

We were there for 4 days, it was very nice. our hosts were always reach uu. On the first morning the gas was empty, within half an hour there was a handyman who renewed the gas despite the holiday. Incredible! We got great recommendations every day. We would come back any time!

Lovely comfortable stay at this charming rustic residence. An oasis of calm close to Mt Etna. Great communication and Maria organised tours, breakfast etc on short notice. Would stay again.

The host is an old man who is going to be 90 years old.The old gentleman will be very enthusiastic about the condition of the place, where to rent a car, and which spots to go, where to eat local food?Although he is not very fluent in English, he will be very patient with the conversation with you through Google Translate.Although the location of the accommodation is not very convenient, it is very convenient to rent a small car as a mobile transportation, Taiwanese people are recommended to come to this place to stay.

Beautiful villa at the base of Mt. Etna. Very large pool and garden. Nadia and her family are close by and very responsive / always willing to help. The location is great as it is close to the volcano and a 15 min drive to the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

Had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa! Was the perfect place to celebrate my friend’s hen do, with plenty of rooms and showers for the girls. The pool and hot tub was a bonus in a beautifully decorated outdoor area. Only downside is the difficulty of getting cabs in the area, which I believe wouldn’t have been a problem if we rented a car. Salvo and his family kindly helped us by picking us and dropping us to the airport as needed, and was always available and so responsive on the chat. Definitely recommend!

Magical place in the middle of nature with a magnificent view. Etna in the background, and a very welcoming and available host. I recommend it!

It was a real fantastic accommodation, outside the hustle and bustle of city life we found this oasis of peace and tranquillity. The view is amazing and Giuseppe the best host you can get, very thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommended!

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

Thank you to Cinzia and her husband. Everything was very straightforward. We were warmly welcomed, were able to spend very nice days, were gifted with oranges and everything was very nice and practical. Each room had its own exit, a wonderful view into the lemon groves, a large terrace, and the scent of lemons and spring plants was delightful. Our family is still delighted.

Amazing place, we really enjoyed our time here, also very friendly hosts and people around, i definitely recommend!

We stayed here and were the only two guests in late April. We got a room upgrade and ate their delicious four course dinner. We felt really well taken care of and even got to see Etna clearly at night erupting - it was so cool! You really feel taken care of here I would highly recommend.

Beautiful well-equipped apartment ideally located between Catania and Etna. Andrea is a great host who does everything to satisfy his visitors. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

we spent 2 weeks in the villa .It has the most stunning views of mount Etna . The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a well equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen .The pool area is beautiful with lemon and orange trees .All of which you can pick and enjoy throughout your stay .It's a shirt walk into town where there are a couple of restaurants and coffee shops .There's also a supermarket . You can use the local bus and there is also a hop.on hop off tourist bus .This will take you to the tourist hot stops .We had a car which we would recommend as it allows you to explore the whole area . Parking is on the property and very secure .Giovanni was very helpful ,friendly and was very responsive when we had questions .We had a wonderful stay in the villa and felt it was great value for money . I, my wife and our 10-11 month baby had a fantastic one month stay at Villa Britannia. The beautiful villa had everything we looked for: great location, a lovely garden (in which "The Snake" by DH Lawrence was written), a big kitchen (great for perfecting Pasta alla Norma), seaview and parking (the large garage could easily fit our quite long estate car). Louisa and her husband Marco are lovely people and provided service on a far higher level than most Airbnb-hosts. Any minor issues were quickly sorted out. Louisa would bring us wines to try and proactively let us know about events in town or traffic challenges, as well as giving great recommendations and help with any problem. We were provided with a baby cot, a baby bath, several (!) baby chairs and lots of toys. Could not ask for more. We really hope to be back one day!

The place is amazing! 2 steps from the city center on foot with beaches and shops but in the middle of quiet fruit trees with a very nice garden! Melania has lots of special touches that make the stay very pleasant! Lemons oranges and berries to make a squeezed juice in the morning or for a little fresh break! Very pleasant stay 15 mins from Taormina. Melania and her husband are very warm;)
