We are renting out our modern thatched cottage, which was completed in 2017 and is picturesquely situated right on the Focker Strom. The furnishings are modern, in Scandinavian style and generously furnished. From now on, we will cover all Airbnb fees, which means that you as guests will no longer pay the 15% Airbnb service fees – we will cover them. This change was made by Airbnb. Spacious, light-flooded rooms allow an unobstructed view into the beautifully landscaped garden. On the ground floor there is 1 living room with a spacious dining area, as well as a large modernly furnished kitchen and a guest toilet. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, one of them with an open bathroom en suite and a smaller bathroom.

From here, the island can be explored in all directions. Our Landkate has a modern-clear ambiance, furnished in a mixture of Nordic design, vintage furniture and Grandma Elisabeth's kitchen buffet. Through large windows you can look from all sides into the wide sky and at meadows and forests.

Cozy Vacation Apartment in the Cent

Our very modern and spacious holiday apartment easily fits two to three people and with the booking of the additional bedroom even four people can be accommodated. Since the apartment is located in the center of the island, it is the perfect starting point to all attractions and hence the distance is always moderate. The apartment perfectly fits a family with one child. Families with two children or three to four adults we recommend to book the extra bedroom.

Schummerstunn

We completely renovated the approximately 200-year-old building of a former family-run bakery in 2017 and furnished a vacation apartment for 2 people on the upper floor of the rear building. The building complex is located on the historic market with the medieval church. From Gingst, start excursions to the wonderful landscapes of the island of Rügen, to the islands of Hiddensee and Ummanz or to a day trip to the Hanseatic city of Stralsund.

Cottage with Sauna and natural swimming pond

Our two identical holiday cottages are located in a separate building next to our main house, each with its own private entrance – quiet and private. The sauna is right next to the natural swimming pond and can be used freely, with towels and bathrobes included. The pond is perfect for cooling off after the sauna. Centrally yet peacefully located, directly by the Small Jasmund Bodden and next to a large nature reserve.

A few years ago, I bought the house with a large orchard meadow, pond and old barn in the middle of the countryside. Since then, I have lived here with my dog, 5 sheep and a few chickens. The rental income helps us to further develop the farm. This year, a cat from the animal shelter also moved into the barn. That's why I can no longer allow dogs in principle. Feel free to write if you want to bring your dog.
