The main living area is south facing with large double fully opening doors onto the decking overlooking the wildlife pond, with views to the countryside beyond. There is a leather sofa which converts into a sofa bed - if needed for extra guests please enquire. The kitchen space is fully fitted with oven and grill, glass hob, extractor fan, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and kettle. Dining table and 2 chairs. Shower room accessed through sliding door, Large double shower with Mira mixer shower giving 3 different flow effects; Safety grab rail in the shower space. Integrated toilet and sink with Heated mirror over, dimmable for warm or cool lighting. Tall, heated towel rail. Bedroom accessed through double sliding doors to double bed with really comfy mattress. Overhead a Velux window with sliding blackout shutter; Bedside reading lights; Dressing table with Chair and Mirror; Open wardrobe with hanging space and small drawers; Hiding cleaning space for ironing board, iron and mop. Outside has 2 seating areas 1- gravelled area to the rear overlooking the field and woods, with seating table firepit and barbeque; 2- decked area to the front with seating and small table overlooking the pond.

Our cottage is situated directly on the Five Pits Trail, which provides miles of trails for walkers, bike and horse riders, there are also fishing ponds 500m along the trail. It's a beautiful character cottage newly renovated to a high standard. It is ideally situated, with Hardwick Hall 5 minutes drive away and the Peak District on our doorstep. Matlock, Crich Tramway Village, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall within half an hour. We also have a hottub for you to relax in at the end of your day.

The Granary

Situated in the country side, with no one around, the gorgeous Hardwick View Lodge. A lovely intimate space with the sounds of nature all around. You can go on many different walks, to close by places such as Hardwick Hall and Stainsby Mill. This is a perfect place for walkers or a couple wanting a romantic treat away, with a hot tub to relax in too. Our hot tub is open all year round at no extra cost, a lovely place to star gaze at night or relax in after a busy day! 2 people only, no children

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. There is a large lawn to the front of the property with off road parking, the rear garden is private and has use of a BBQ in summer.
