The detached annex is on 2 separate levels, self-contained allowing peace/privacy throughout the stay. Accessed down a shared drive to the end of our cottage garden, benefiting from stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Within walking distance to the Crown at Ampney Brook where you can enjoy drinks/food.

It is overlooking the unique village of Sheepscombe with fantastic panoramic views over the village and surrounding National Trust beechwoods. This rural retreat is a walkers paradise, dog friendly with close access into the woods behind and near to the Laurie Lee way in the Slad Valley. Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Gloucester are a short drive away. An idyllic quiet get away.

A comfortable, well equipped loft apartment situated in a tranquil hamlet in the heart of the Slad Valley. Stroud town centre (1.5 miles) and the nearest pub, The Woolpack Inn, Slad is just 15-20 mins stroll. Enjoy the green rolling hills, ancient beech woodland, bright starry skies and plenty of fresh air. Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.
