A charming house from the 1800s with a great atmosphere. The property is beautifully located by the lake overlooking Ålesund and Sunnmørsalpene. Only 15 min by car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there is cultivated land with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a marble church from the Middle Ages, beaches, untouched nature and bird life. The island was once home to Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs, and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

The cabin is located right down by the seafront in the harbor of Alnes with panoramic views of both the fjord and the ocean. It is fascinating to watch the bird life and boat traffic. The light changes throughout the day, you can see both sunrise and sunset from the living room window. This is a place where you can find peace. Right outside the living room door there are well-marked, varied hiking trails. You can also go on day trips to Ålesund, Geiranger and Runde. On the neighboring island there is a water sports center with equipment rental.

Quiet, peaceful, with stunning views of fjords and mountains, less than 10 m from the waterfront. 70 m2 plus large room at the jetty level. Unique design, large window surfaces, and rooms on multiple levels. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. The lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

Café and art gallery in the experience center by the lighthouse. Hiking in the mountains and the fjord "right from the door" Sandy beach and good surfing opportunities as well as rental of water sports equipment. Approx. 20 mins. drive to airport or Jugendbyen Ålesund Here you live with a good starting point for day trips on Sunnmøre.

Nyt den fantastiske utsikten fra dette idylliske stabburet lokalisert på Valderøya utenfor Ålesund. Stabburet er over hundre år gammelt, men er blitt renovert i flere runder. OBS! Stabburet har strøm, men ikke innlagt vann eller toalett. Gjester kan bruke dusj og toalett i hovedhuset som ligger 30 m unna. Badet i hovedhuset benyttes kun av dere gjester og tilgang til resten av hovedhuset er avstengt. Det er 5 liter vann tilgjengelig i kjøleskapet. Velkommen til et autentisk Airbnb opphold ❤️

Here you have a short distance to the lake with good swimming opportunities, and the area offers beautiful nature with both mountains and nice hiking trails. The house is centrally located, with only 15 minutes to Vigra Airport and 20 minutes to Ålesund city center. Surrounded by the Sunnmørsalpene, between Ørsta and Ålesund lies this unique waterfront house. A perfect starting point for mountain hiking and other attractions in Sunnmøre. Within an hour or two you can reach famous places such as Geiranger, Åndalsnes, Loen and the amazing bird island Runde. The Atlantic Park in Ålesund is also worth a visit. In Ørsta, 20 min. away, there are plenty of shops and restaurants.
