Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gold Beach

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The beach was really close and beautiful, and uncrowded . The house has been well maintained and has had loads of extra spaces added. We used their grill which worked great, enjoyed their fireplace and the kids loved the game room. Super convenient to use the garage door for loading and unloading. Lots of parking places and really reasonable pricing! Thanks for the great memories!

Hands down one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Don’t be fooled by the modest exterior, the interior is spotlessly clean, clutter free and comfortable. Right away we let out a sigh of relief! Beautiful view ( despite the construction), cozy beds, and access to the beach (though the trail is a bit rickety). Great visit for ourselves, a couple toddlers, and a dog. If we’re ever down this way again, we’d love to stay here again!

We were looking for something that was relaxing and peaceful. it didn't disappoint us. Jim and Tenea were very friendly and responsive if we needed anything. The Wi-Fi was the only thing that could have been better. The signal wasn't real strong so it would come in and out. It was the best in the master bedroom.

Monica’s house was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with most anything you would need. The location gives you easy access to the beach and the little development it is in was quiet and secure. We had a lovely stay. I would recommend Monica’s house to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing stay by the beach.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our time on the river. We were sad that the Chetco was closed for fishing. We didn’t realize, but we got to cast our poles in the Rogue river 30 miles north. Rachel and Bryon were quick to respond with our questions and everything worked fine. The two bedrooms downstairs shared a bathroom and the two bedrooms upstairs shared one, which worked out well for us.

The Swell House was great and we would definitely stay there again. Rental is located in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood with friendly people. Bonus points for being able to go for daily walks with the convenience of having a private path down to the beach. We enjoyed the backyard patio with blooming lilacs and sea breeze. Appreciated the cleanliness and amenities that were available. Hiking trails are located close by and the main area of Brookings and Harbor are a short drive away.

Beautiful home with panoramic view of the mountains and ocean. Gorgeous home inside, warm and cozy. The house is up on the hill and it’s probably 1/4 mile from the road up. The drive way is very steep and winding. Driving up to the house is the most challenging part of the trip. If you have front wheel drive, you will have a hard time getting through the driveway. We had a minivan and we did make the drive every day, but it was nerves wrecking each time. All wheel drive is highly recommended. Despite the challenging drive, we love the place and would return when we are in the area again.

What a lovely location. We rented the lower unit, the entire house can be rented and what an amazing vacation that would be. Our apartment had everything we needed, we were hunkering down during a wild wind storm and had great views and a cozy space to ride out the storm.

I had a wonderful stay at the condo ‘Salty Shores’ in Gold Beach. It was cozy, welcoming and very nicely decorated. The bed’s mattress in the loft upstairs was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Michele was very responsive and helpful. Also, the welcome gift basket was much appreciated after a long drive! I had never used that type of lockbox before and Michele was very prompt in providing help. I’ll definitely stay at ‘Salty Shores’ again if I’m ever back in the area.

The view was outstanding and the interior space was simply furnished with quality materials. It was an excellent place to enjoy Port Orford.

Enjoyed our stay in Brookings. The beaches and coastline are amazing! Quiet neighborhood and close to town, beaches and redwoods. Would definitely stay again.

The place was spacious and well-equipped, with a large, comfortable bed that made for a restful stay. The included amenities were convenient, and the location was very quiet, which was nice for unwinding. The host was friendly and communicated well, making the stay even better. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay.

It’s self check in and out. The unit is almost brand new.The local market is only two minutes drive away. There’s a short hike close to the place. The master bath room floor has temperature control.I bet if you come in the summer, there’s lot more things to do. Overall, this is a nice place to stay.

This is my second time staying here, and I am ready for a third visit! Super convenient condo above a delicious restaurant, lots of room to spread out and be comfortable (the beds upstairs and downstairs are so comfy!). Big kitchen! Playing scrabble and watching the ocean—you cannot go wrong with a stay here!

Exceptional location, and gated access made us feel very secure. The windows were a little hazy, but the view is stunning. A beautiful, well-cultivated walk leads down to an absolutely perfect private-access beach. Linens and towels were fluffy, good quality, and very clean. The whole property was clean and well-appointed. Nice coffee options. There are three parking spots directly in front of the unit, and we always found at least one open, which made for super convenient loading and unloading of luggage. No stairs. The highway is close enough that it was obvious when heavy vehicles went by, but it never bothered us. Didn't hear road noise at night, and the highway proximity just means that town/shops/restaurants are easily accessible. Apart from that little bit of daytime road noise, the property was very quiet and peaceful. Didn't hear any neighbors, and the ones we encountered outside were very nice. I would rent here again.

Ana’s place was amazing! The surroundings were everything and it was so peaceful. Ana was very helpful and responsive. It looks like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but yet it’s still close to town and other things. She also has a guest book that gave great recommendations and just added to the trip. I highly recommend her place!!

Love the property. We were coming in with a rental car so that was a lil crazy trying to register but everything worked out. The balcony was great and we enjoyed our time watching the pretty view.

Great place to stay with beautiful sunsets. Marcela is extremely responsive and helpful. The photos on the listing match what you see in person. Amazing views of the river and ocean. Grocery store is door to door 5 minutes away. The town itself is a nice little gem on the Oregon coast. Absolute reprieve from the hustle and bustle of bigger cities. Highly recommend staying here.

Great views of the Rogue and Patterson bridge. Although relatively close to the 101 and being a condo, we didn’t hear traffic or neighbors. Clean and clutter free. Definitely need a decent cork screw and the heater makes a bit of noise but just those little things. Enjoyed the views, seals, and otters. A peaceful getaway.

Really great size house, comfy beds, comfy chairs in the living room, great size kitchen table, super clean, well stocked kitchen pots and utensils. The listing said shampoo/conditioner provided so I didn't pack any and what they provided was a handful of tiny hotel bottles. I would suggest either remove that from listed amenities or add the like pumps or something that hotels have installed in their showers. Also to note, the beach access is super close but you have to cross a bunch of logs so if you were physically disabled or on crutches etc etc it would be a real drag. So I would include that in the description to allow people to make fully informed decisions. Lovely home:)
