Perfect for two families. Quiet with great view of Mount Hood. Kitchen had everything, beds comfortable, cozy fireplace and warm wood-stove. We all loved your book collection! And games. Thank you for lovey weekend in your home!

Booked this place for my 69yo father. He was so impressed. Had a great view and was so close to the main street. Julie was very responsive which made things very smooth for check in.

Charles was very helpful when our travel plans were disrupted by car troubles. His communications and flexibility were much appreciated, and the place was great!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at JR’s cozy place. It was especially peaceful up among the surrounding trees. I arrived after dark and found her thorough directions helpful for an easy entry. The place feels cozy with the gas stove going, and there were many thoughtful touches, including quality sheets, towels and other amenities. The 2 recliners and sofa were especially comfy with lovely throw blankets!! The space seemed so fresh and new and very thoughtfully designed. Would definitely stay again, perfect location as my daughter lives 5 min away and access to the town is easy as well!

We used the cottage as a base for my husband's hiking on the Deschutes Trail. While he explored the outdoors, I tucked in for R&R. This was a cozy little house within walking distance of some great eateries. The proximity to Mill Creek was a bonus. It was a lovely, natural white noise machine. We would absolutely visit again.

A beautiful older house with modern conveniences and quality. James was a great host and we had a wonderful weekend relaxing and taking in all that Hood River has to offer!

Ben's place was beautiful, and the view was beyond amazing! Every level of the four-story home had an incredible view of the river and downtown. And the rooftop deck was a nice bonus for stargazing (and I imagine it would be excellent during the summer months!). The restaurants we chose in downtown, including Doppio Coffee were just a couple of blocks walk downhill. Nothing was further than 5-6 minutes away by foot. So convenient! This is was perfect home to bring the extended family to, grandparents and our 5-year-old son for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

What a FANTASTIC place! Great location, beautiful decor, comfy beds, wonderful layout, plenty of fluffy towels, well stocked - We could not ask for more. The hosts are the sweetest and very kind and also allowed us to check in a bit early when we arrived in town in advance of our scheduled eta and responded almost immediately to any communications. The home was absolutely spotless from top to bottom we felt right at home the moment we opened the front door. Peaceful views of the Columbia River and we loved watching the barges float by (we are native to The Dalles and grew up watching the trains and barges from our grandparents home up on Hermits Way). THANK YOU so much for sharing your fantastic space with us. We'd love to stay with you again!!

Nice place, good location for me beings it was close to where I grew up, and the salmon were running, unfortunately for me, work kept calling me away and didn’t get to stay there as much as I wanted to
