Monthly Rentals in Gomersal

We loved staying at Jane & Andrew’s “cottage” as I’m calling it. It’s so much more than an apartment, it’s so spacious, beautiful and welcoming with a lovely courtyard at the back along with the hot tub. We didn’t visit the farm since my hubby has had hip & knee surgery recently and the uphill climb would have been too much for him but for sure we’ll be back and hopefully he’ll be fit enough to do it then. The local Sainsbury’s is just a 10 minute walk away so I would walk there and then take a cheap 3.50 quid Uber back with heavy groceries…like Guinness, lol The West End pub is also a 10 minute walk away and a cheap 3.50 quid Uber back too. We flew from Toronto to visit family in Wyke and adored staying in this gem of a place for a week. So peaceful and a perfect size for two adults. The owners’ Grandkids were just next door, so if you have a couple of kids there’s plenty of room for them too and I’m sure they’d all get along, but as just us two adults we had loads of room.

Extremely friendly and helpful host. Welcomed me and showed me the place and how everything worked. They are very generous with the extras they provide also.

A lovely, well-maintained, spacious property with everything you could need when away from your own home. Thoughtful touches everywhere, from a basket of goodies, to a selection of DVDs and a cupboard full of board games. A perfectly cosy home away from home. Thank you!

The cottage is far better than the photos suggest. It is really spacious and comfortable and is set in a pretty garden. Lots of nice touches and plenty of good equipment. An easy walk to an excellent gourmet Indian restaurant and to other restaurants and pubs. Highly recommend!
