Melaleuca Mansion is a fabulous spot nestled in Vivonne Bay. Private, rustic, clean as a pin, lovely linen and a well stocked kitchen. This is a tune out, chillax and immerse yourself in total peace type of place. We barbecued most nights and enjoyed beach walks when we weren’t exploring the rest of the island. For those new to a composting toilet - it does not smell at all. Very impressed. Also, hot water came on very fast so minimal wastage. Heidi went to great efforts to ensure our stay was comfortable. Thoroughly recommend Melaleuca Mansion.

Beautiful spot in Vivonne bay. Kitchen had all you needed for a great self catering holiday. Particularly loved walking across the road to the river with our morning teas. My parents who were visiting from the UK loved it, and kept calling it luxurious. stunning view. Comfy beds. . Would definitely go back again.

Great spot on Kangaroo Island away from anything or anyone else. 5 minute drive to a fantastic beach and about 1 hour to Remarkable Rocks. Easy to find - they must of put up a sail sign recently as it wasn't in the pictures but made it super easy to identify the driveway. This place has everything you need minus food. Hit the grocery store on your way in and enjoy disconnecting from society! also, lots of kangaroos in the morning and evening.

What a wonderful base to explore Kangaroo Island! The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, there were books and games for the kids, a wonderful garden and a great balcony, as well as a gas BBQ that we could use. Jonny and Simone were wonderful hosts! And to top that, the location is perfect, at the heart of Kangaroo Island, close to everything, but still very secluded. Very highly recommended!
