Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, our stone countryhouse is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes are 20 minutes away from the centre of Heraklion(15km), 15 minutes away from Heraklion's International airport, 15 minutes away from the famous Minoan palace of Knossos, as well as 20 minutes away from numerous beautiful beaches. Situated in the center of the most important wine-producing region of Crete, it has a 5000 years old history, while excavations conducted in the last 50 years have brought to light a lot of sites dating back to the Minoan period. The village is also very famous for its typical Cretan architecture. Most of the houses have been restored recently and Archanes has won the second award as “the best restored village in Europe”. The house enjoys a spacious interior and a private garden, which is protected by a peripheral wall. This is a typical characteristic of old Cretan houses of the area. Guests enter the private garden through the gate which then leads to the main building. I am always at the disposal of my guests, so that I can make their holiday problem-free. Furthermore, there is a free parking very close to the house. The country house is only 20’ away from the “Nikos Kazantzakis Airport” and the port. The archeological site of Knossos is 15’ away.

Καλώς ήρθατε στο sunny terrace house ένα πρόσφατο ανακαινισμένο σπίτι, με πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα, μπάνιο και δύο υπνοδωμάτια. Υπάρχουν μεγάλες βεράντες, με θέα στη φύση με μεγάλη εξωτερική τραπεζαρία. Βρίσκεται μόλις 2 λεπτά με τα πόδια από μια οργανωμένη παραλία είναι ιδανικό για οικογένειες και ζευγάρια. Η στάση του λεωφορείου Ν.7 απέχει 2 λεπτά με τα πόδια με συχνά δρομολόγια προς Ηράκλειο –Ρέθυμνο –Χανία και προς Χερσόνησο –Μάλια-Άγιο Νικόλαο –Σητεία. Επίσης τα δρομολόγια των λεωφορείων περνάνε και υπάρχει στάση έξω απ το αεροδρόμιο Ηρακλείου Νίκου Καζαντζάκη. Σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση από το κατάλυμά μας, μπορείτε να βρείτε καφετέριες, οικογενειακά εστιατόρια και snacks και μίνι μάρκετ,. Το Κοκκίνη Χάνι απέχει μόλις 5 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο και είναι ένα τέλειο θέρετρο για οικογένειες και ζευγάρια όλων των ηλικιών με τα εστιατόρια, τις καφετέριες, τα μπαρ, τα καταστήματα και τα σούπερ μάρκετ, φαρμακεία και ΑΤΜ για τραπεζικές συναλλαγές.
