A spacious private casita in the natural preserve guesthouse of Casa de las Aves. We have a small hotel on the shore of the laguna. This casita sits above the rest of the rooms. It has two toilets and a large shower for two. The queen bed is super comfortable with two couches which can be used as beds if you have an extra guest! Our restaurant is open from 8-8 and serves delicious locally sourced vegetarian food with a few fish options. Our breakfast is abundant and included in your stay.

Casa Smart was the biggest challenge as planned, although it is the smallest of our houses. How small can a house be and still look great? It looks like we were able to find the right proportion...because: Casa Smart is very much appreciated by our guests. Perhaps it is due to the "treehouse character" created by the fact that Casa Smart can be opened completely on the upper floor with shutters. So you can look out of the large bed directly into the treetops.
