overall rhe experience staying here with my small family was exactly what we needed. Miranda was very clear on what was expected upon arrival and departure. the location was great and the little stream in the garden was lovely to wake up too. I would definitely consider staying here if you want somewhere peaceful and not too far way from other locations, like the beach, Edinburgh and beautiful walks. ❤️ thanks Miranda for making our stay worth while.

We were visiting for a family wedding and were looking for a place for a group of adults. Caroline's place was absolutely ideal, cosy but with enough room for everyone to have their own space when they wanted. Spotlessly clean and those additional touches that make you feel really welcome when you arrive. The highlight has to be having your own private 'pub' - the snooker was a huge hit although my skills haven't improved at all! Great value for money and a fantastic place to stay - hopefully we'll be back someday!

The cottage was wonderful and we loved our stay! If you’re on the taller side you’ll have to duck to get into the shower, and it is right above a train line so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs but the walls are so thick you can hardly hear! Does get a bit cold but the log fire helps, we would definitely recommend x
