A peaceful countryside stay with amazing views and lovely animals — the horses and llamas made it extra special! The house was cozy and clean, and the Jerry was very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely return

A lovely home from home cottage with all amenities you'll ever need. Even provided stairs gates and a high chair upon request. Great location to explore the area and having a pub within 1 minute walk is a bonus!

Had a short stay at Barley Croft lodge. Ray was great he rang to check if everything was ok with our lodge and was very polite and helpful. The lodge is in lovely surroundings with lots to do locally. It was ideal for our 1 year old daughter who could wander on the veranda safely and look at the two donkeys in the adjacent field. The lodge has everything you need and is close by the villages of Melbourne and Breedon have places to visit. An all around great experience. Thank you Ray.

Amazing stay! The place was immaculate, lovely living room area, well stocked kitchen and cosy bedroom. Looks even nicer than the photos! Lots of nice little touches like milk in the fridge, tea bags, coffee, blankets and a speaker. We enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony overlooking the countryside view. Will definitely be back!

We had the best stay at this beautiful home! Amber was a great host and went above and beyond for us. The trampoline in the garden was a great extra we weren’t expecting and the kids loved the playroom too. The location is a bit out the way so need to drive to shops 10/15 mins but the village is beautiful and really couldn’t fault it. Would return & definitely recommend. Thanks again x

In stayed for a long weekend with my family. The house was lovely and perfect for me as the children could play in the conservatory. The garden was lovely and my boys really enjoyed being outside and playing. House was lovely and I would stay again.

A great host, very fast responses to our very late notice booking, everything was ready for us within a hour of booking. Super clean and comfortable house with great facilities, perfect for a 3 generation family break. Would recommend and would be happy to stay again. I didn’t stay personally, but my partner and daughter went there for a weekend, the place is wonderful, especially if you have dogs. Beds are comfortable and all round reports were positive. The only things worth a mention I suppose our lack of Wi-Fi/phone reception and also if you are driving a van the people on the gate can be quite unhelpful. Probably best mentioning it in advance so the owner can have a word but my family loved it and would happily go back 😊

Clear and detailed instructions before arrival. Private and peaceful hot tub with a nice view. Cosy hut with a comfy bed, would highly recommend!
