  • Naze View Farm Alpaca Experience
You will arrive at the farm - which has wonderful views over the Peak District Hills and Combes Reservoir. We will make sure you are refreshed and give you a short talk on the Alpacas; * how to keep you and your Alpaca safe during the walk * how to put your Alpaca at ease and gain the most from your experience. * the care and husbandry tasks that we provide for our alpacas Whilst we are talking to you, we will match you to the Alpaca which would suit you best. We will then collect "the boys" and go for a walk around our farm - this will be through wooded areas and fields and we will stop along the way to allow you time to pet the Alpacas and get to know them. PLEASE ENSURE YOU WEAR SUITABLE FOOTWEAR. We will stop during the walk for cuddles and photo opportunities. You will be able to feel some of their fleece and if you wish you can collect some alpaca poop if you wish to make some "fertiliser tea" once you return home to help your garden grow! Once the walk has finished, we will have opportunity for more photos and the opportunity to ask questions. You will leave the experience with increased knowledge about these wonderful animals and benefit from some time in their company. There are three alpacas, each visitor will have one alpaca each, if you have a group of more than 3 people, please get in touch. Other things to note Alpacas are friendly animals who have a natural curiosity. They are nervous creatures and can be startled easily so we try and minimise loud noises and quick movement, please ensure long hair is tied back. The alpacas do not like to be drowned in rain - so the experience can be weather dependent.

  • Electric Mountain Biking Peak District
Using Electric Mountain bikes that make the uphills easy and the downhills fun. We will ride local trails from Buxton depending on the weather and conditions. We have routes for everyone, from beginner to those more experienced and include some lesser known trails off the beaten path. From the meeting point we will travel to our starting point, get you set up and comfortable on the bike. Then we will hit the hills, enjoy the views, fresh air and adventure. (Please enquire with me about taking a total of 3 people out. I do have enough bikes, it just depends on the size of bike available for each person's height.) Other things to note Be aware that cycling is a physical activity and we have some quite large hills. You need to be reasonably fit but the electric motors on the bikes really help . Bring appropriate clothing for the ride, no trailing fabric.
