Cozy 2-room apartment near the Baltic Sea

Small quiet apartment in the countryside. Franzburg is more of a sleepy place with an ice cream cafe, Edeka, Sparkasse and pharmacy and does not offer much for tourists. Here you should definitely be mobile, as it is a good starting point for day trips in all directions. The Baltic Sea with beautiful beaches on the Darss can be reached after approx. 40 minutes. The city of Stralsund and the Rügenauffahrt can be reached in a good 30 minutes. The well-equipped apartment contains a small kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. This includes a parking space, (a balcony) and use of the Wi-Fi. Towels and beds are available upon arrival. If necessary, an extra bed can be provided for a child at no extra charge.

Rest guaranteed! If you want to enjoy the Baltic Sea nearby, otherwise the tranquility of an idyllic place with a large garden, this is the place to be. A terrace on the upper floor invites you to linger. In the evening you can sit comfortably by the fire. On cool evenings, a fireplace warms up. From here 25min (car) to Stralsund and Greifswald. Simply, surrounded by rare birdsong, invigorating trees and good air, you can recover here in the best possible way and sustainably. The home has a double bed (1.40*2 m), a small kitchen and dining area. Outside are toilet & solar shower (4-10). With us you will find a very nice, individual apartment with a small garden and a wooden terrace to enjoy the sun, the day and the evening. You have a separate entrance and your own garden. We are located in a single-family housing estate in the outskirts of the small town of Barth. Shopping is a 5-minute walk away. Gastronomy is abundant. You can reach the sea in 45 minutes by bike and in 15 minutes by car. Travel time Ferry from the port of Barth to Zingst about 45 minutes.

Wortshaus: Illustration & apartment with sauna

The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...

September Special: Pick apples in the garden and make apple compote, apple pie and dried apple rings to your heart's content! The Alte Försterei is located in the middle of nature on the edge of the forest - ideal for enjoying peace and quiet. The apartment is very cozy and open. In the winter, it is particularly nice to enjoy the fire after a trip to Rügen or Usedom. In the evening, in the clear sky, it is worth going outside and admiring the stars in the deep darkness.

Vacation at the gates of Stralsund

Cozy 2-room self-contained apartment (40 sqm), first floor, in a quiet residential area. Downtown Stralsund is only 8 km away. Other attractive destinations such as Rügen, Usedom and Darss are suitable for day trips. A travel crib is available for a toddler up to about 3 years of age. An older child can sleep in the living room (sofa bed). Vacation with dog by prior arrangement. A key box is available for flexible check-in. I am also happy to welcome my guests in person.

It feels like you are at the edge of the world here, a garden full of trees with a view of the Mecklenburg prairie. The apartment has its own entrance and garden area. 4 sheep and 5 cats inhabit the large garden. 2 e-bikes can be rented. Wood-burning stove sauna & hot pot are available for a fee. The village of Barlin is a very nice place to vacation with horses and a playground. Forest and lakes are close. We former Berliners live next door as a family.
