The Studio at Mizpah Farm

Nestled between two rivers in the Karkloof Valley, The Studio at Mizpah Farm Retreat sleeps 4 in a single living space with a king-size bed and 2 singles. It includes a semi-enclosed kitchenette and verandah with spectacular views of our own waterfall (a must-see) and the Karkloof mountains. Please note that the cooking facilities (stove) comprise a two-plate gas cooker only, microwave oven, and toaster. The bathroom facilities are separate from the cabin and are located approximately 25m away.

Furnished to a high standard, the Cottage sleeps up to 6 people with amenities including DSTV & wifi - although you're likely to be sitting on the stoep, sundowner in hand, or star-gazing from the braai area.

Paddocks Cottage on Newstead Farm nestles in the rolling hills near Nottingham Road. Here you can find dams for boating and bass fishing, a tennis court and 25ha of indigenous forest! This rural smallholding farm with Nguni Cows and retired horses has a significant history from the 1840's and gives you the chance to experience the true peace and tranquillity of the countryside, but yet is very central to top restaurants, golf courses, wedding venues and schools. The farm runs on solar power.

This charming yet cosy mountain-view villa is perfect for couples seeking peace and quiet. Enjoy superb views of the Karkloof range from the patio, along with a pizza oven, fire pit, wood-fired hot tub, and a comfortable daybed. The setting is tranquil and scenic, ideal for unwinding in nature. The villa has no TVs, encouraging guests to fully relax and enjoy the surroundings. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended, though lower vehicles can also access.

Mission House is in the heart of the Midlands Meander route, and only a short distance from the N3.

eKuthuleni Glamping: Wooden cabin over the lake

Our wooden cabin over the lake offers a cozy and comfortable stay, with stunning views over the lake and the forests around the property. Enjoy the bird life of which there are a few species. You can enjoy the tranquility, or fish from the deck, or explore the nearby attractions. The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowoods! The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, golf courses and schools. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a working farm, so there will be ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on! Cottage has braai facilities, WiFi and DSTV.

This farm stay features 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with a microwave and a toaster, a flat-screen TV, a seating area and a bathroom with a bath. Please note it i semi self catering there is a microwave and a fridge but no stove and it gets serviced everyday .
