Holiday rentals with a patio in Groningen

The second time we were there and are super satisfied again. The parking garage is easily accessible on foot and the key for the accommodation can be taken out of the key box on the way. The kitchen had everything to cook for 4 people. Will come again any time!

Comfortable and nicely decorated accommodation in the heart of downtown Groningen. We particularly enjoyed the strategic location, the decor and the good bedding. (Finally a firm sofa bed! With down duvets!). The apartment was very clean. Matthijs is a very responsive host. We had a great time.

The three of us stayed in Esther's apartment for a week and felt very comfortable there. The apartment is very tastefully decorated. Everything - dishes, etc., are available in sufficient quantity and quality. There's really nothing missing. For the first day and breakfast the fridge was stocked! We were welcomed with chilled sparkling wine. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen-living room, which is the center of the apartment. The apartment is located in the old town of Appingedam, a very nice place and a good starting point for trips to Groningen or Leeuwarden. Highly recommend both. We highly recommend this property and Esther as a landlady.

It's a beautiful and nicely decorated stay, everything is quite new. Beautiful surroundings and wonderfully quiet, easy to find and self check-in is completely convenient. Very helpful and kind people. If I have to go to the UMCG Groningen again and have to stay somewhere, then we will definitely come back.

Our stay was comfortable, newly renovated house located outside Groningen, very quiet and perfect for two nights.

We were a group of 7 friends who were looking for an relaxing stay in the netherlands. We were really happy with this location. First of all, the host Milo is a really kind person who checked in on us and looked if everything is fine. Also he gave us nice tips for things we can do in the area. Stores like Coop are good to find within 10 minutes with the car, bikes can be rent within a 10 minute footwalk. All in all it is a very quite area which is good for relaxing. Additionally, the big garden we could use was perfect. But you should be aware that the walls are very thin in the house. So when you are talking in the basement, you will hear this in the first floor. But for us this was not a problem at all. We can definitely recommend this location!

We, 2 adults & 2 boys aged 7 and 11 years felt right at home in the accommodation. It was super clean and lovingly furnished. Everything we needed was there. Both the terrace at the house and the terrace by the water invite you to spend wonderfully cozy hours. In the park itself, the children were able to ride their scooters, jump on the trampoline, swim in the indoor swimming pool or pedal boat. Janna and Christof are great hosts who respond immediately and were friendly, helpful and accommodating at all times.

We were surprised by the large of the house. 3 large bedrooms, where the curtains unfortunately let a lot of light through. Nice spacious living room and dining table. We just missed some mirrors. 1 mirror on the bathroom for in my case 6 women is really too little. Should have hung a mirror in the bedrooms. But price technically definitely very interesting and highly recommended.

We took a girls weekend trip and the place was perfect for us! The garden was great and due to the proximity to downtown, a lunch break in the house was also easily doable:)... The house was more than well-equipped! Thank you! We will be happy to come back:)

Great and charming house in beautiful surroundings. Nice hiking areas. Short distance to several cozy cities. Convenient kitchen for cooking cooking. Quiet and peaceful at night, we slept well. Plenty of room for everyone in sofa area for evening fun. Nice garden and birdsong.

We had a short vacation with two children. The accommodation has enough space for a family of 4. The rooms were all clean. You have everything you need. And we had felt like at home. In the garden there is a nice sauna and a large hot tub. The sauna is worth the money in our opinion. And we were allowed to enjoy the hot tub to the fullest with the wood provided to us free of charge. The surroundings and a very nice playground also leave nothing to be desired. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you and all the best!

A great house in a great location for exploring Groningen. The whole area was quiet day and night but only 10 minutes walk to the city center. Jaap is a great host who communicated very clearly before our check in and everything was exactly as he said it would be. I would recommend this property for anybody looking to stay in Groningen. The city centre is within easy walking distance plus local shops very close by.
