At approximately 5200 feet above sea level, the Lake Atitlan area enjoys year-round spring-like weather (70s to low 80s during the day and 60s at night). Although temperatures remain relatively constant throughout the year the weather is marked by two distinctive seasons: the rainy season (May to October) and the dry season (November to April). During the rainy season the mountains and volcanoes surrounding the lake are verdant green. The mornings are generally crystal clear, while the afternoons bring spectacular showers that are a sight to behold as they roll in over the lake. During the dry season it is rare to receive any precipitation at all. La Casa Colibri has five luxurious guest rooms each with en-suite bath. Four rooms have spacious balconies overlooking the lake. Two rooms have deep soak tubs with separate showers.

This cozy wood and stone cabin is located at the top of a mountain in a small Mayan village. The cabin overlooks the mountains and is surrounded by nature and tranquility. Mountain cabin. It is located within a private farm, Chuchiyá, with protected forest just 5 minutes from the center of the town of Tecpán. The cabin is loft style with a private furnished terrace and barbecue. The views are wonderful and the care of the interior of the cabin makes the stay an immersion in nature. Inside there is a queen size bed, two single beds and a private bathroom. The farm has Wi-Fi, free parking and trails to enjoy.
