jean's space was very nice. very special and nice. spectacular views to the lake and we had kayak and were able to swim. advisable to arrive by car if you want to bring food. Spacious rooms and a nice terrace to enjoy the lake. Everything was very good.

We had a great stay at Augustus’ place. Taking the path along the water, it’s 5 min walk to the main pedestrian street of San Marcos. Place was spotless, and the view and entryway patio is awesome. There were some water issues of first days, heat and pressure, we let Augustus know and he was able to resolve quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

Joshua’s home was a paradise getaway. The views of Lake Atitlan from almost every angle were captivating. The architecture of the villa was an art of its own. The house manager & his son were incredibly helpful, gracious, & much appreciated in every way! & what a lovely experience it was to be boat taxied into town and back. Beds were comfortable, home was clean, and kitchen came equipped with anything you could need. We hope to return at some point, a definite recommend.

We had a beautiful stay at Casa Paloma. The pictures truly do resemble the gorgeous location and it was a bit of peace we needed. The amenities such as the yoga platform, sauna & private dock were great. We also LOVED the food for breakfast and dinner and would recommend utilizing that. I will say we encountered some scorpions but that's a part of it! We felt lucky to wake up with that view everyday :)

The house is very beautiful. A lovely design and filled with beautiful touches and artwork. An amazing view off the veranda, and the gardens are relaxing and full of birds. We all enjoyed the clean pool very much too. Overall it was an amazing place to relax and recharge. There is a walk up to the local village of Santa Clara or tuk tuks to take you up the hill, and the village has a produce market on Saturdays. We also recommend CECAP for great meals with the best view, as well as fair trade traditional handicrafts. It was easy to get a boat at the public dock. It’s probably easiest to arrange your own driver and boat to the private dock as then it’s easy to contact them if they do not turn up or know where to go (problems we had through no fault of the host). Definitely shop in Pana as the shops are very small in Santa Clara. Be aware it was hazy every day for 6 days and apparently this is common in April (or other months too?) because of cane burning. We recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful house, and I have to say, Adolfo was an exceptional host. From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything was perfect for us. His hospitality was above and beyond, offering helpful recommendations, answering any questions we had, and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The house itself was gorgeous, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Adolfo's kindness and attentiveness really made our family’s trip memorable, and we are so grateful for his help. We have stayed at some really nice Airbnbs in the past, but this place exceeded our expectations in every way. The grounds, the house and the staff are absolutely incredible. We are already looking at dates to book another dedicated trip to this house. If the house is available for your travel dates, consider yourself lucky. I'm afraid the secret is out!

Thank you Jenny and Clemens for a wonderful stay! The photos don’t do this place justice—it’s even more stunning in person! The directions were perfectly clear, but I highly recommend using the private transport they offer—it makes the journey much smoother. Whether you arrive via the public or private dock, keep in mind there are steep stairs. Clemens was kind enough to arrange help with our suitcases, which was greatly appreciated! Also, don’t stay out too late—the path is very dark at night, and if you’re arriving in the evening, definitely bring groceries. And to my surprise, Casa del Mundo was just next door, which was super convenient. As beautiful as the property is, the best part was how responsive the hosts were. When my friend and I got a little lost, Clemens immediately called to make sure we were okay. It made us feel really cared for. Highly recommend this stay!
