Kihachikan South Nozawa Onsen

Kihachikan South is a luxurious and homely family chalet. It has three bedrooms; one double, one twin and one smaller single room. The light filled, open plan kitchen and living room features a locally made oak kitchen that includes a Miele oven and induction hob and Miele dishwasher. The kitchen is fully supplied with all the main amenities including; a rice cooker, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and full cooking utensils should they be required. The comfy sofa seating area focusses around a cast iron pellet stove and the latest Bang & Olufsen television and sound system including live feed from the ski hills and Netflix. The daily readings from the traditional barograph will keep you ahead of the weather apps …….. possibly! The bedrooms maintain a traditional feel with shoji windows, wooden beams and authentic wall coverings with the addition of discreet blinds, wooden flooring and western style beds. The bedroom wardrobes in Japanese oak were made to order in Nagano. The bathrooms include walk in showers with locally made hinoki shower benches. The upstairs bathroom with both slate and wooden flooring also contains a separate seating area and large bath tub. The upstairs bathroom enjoys great views over to Togari and Mount Myoko. Dyson hair dryers are supplied in the two main bedrooms. The artwork throughout the Kihachikan South is a mixture of original Japanese woodblock prints and an extensive collection of original 16th & 17th century antique maps of Asia. Kihachikan South has a Miele washing machine and separate Miele clothes dryer.The ski, board and boot room is downstairs and shared with Kihachikan North and contains snow shoes for guest use (when available).

Thanks to the blackout curtains, you can enjoy a leisurely morning rest. There is also a power socket by the bedside, which is convenient for charging devices. There is no en-suite bathroom in the room (shared bathroom). ■Room facilities ・Two single low beds - Fridge ・Air conditioning/heating (*Air conditioning available from June to October only) TV Bath towels, face towels, toothbrushes * Yukatas can be rented for a fee. ■ About consecutive stays Housekeeping (including a change of sheets) is carried out every five nights. We want you to have a relaxing time with your loved ones Hütte + can accommodate 2 to 5 people. (Children can sleep with parents, so 6 people can stay) Hutte is French for "cabin, mountain villa". But we cherished the plus. We added it to a 72 m2 villa. Make the kitchen stylish. The contrast with the vintage furniture makes the whole thing a little more modern. I lined up a collection of vintage mirrors in the bathroom. The two modern Japanese bedrooms have mosquito nets hung to deepen your sleep in the highlands. At night, I want you to enjoy a quiet chill night in the forest with a dim, modest light. The starry sky, the small hot spring tour, and the deliciousness of the morning vegetables will be memorable. In winter, it is surrounded by many powder snow slopes. Kusatsu, Manza Onsen. Karuizawa Outlet. Nakakaruizawa walk. We also recommend Picchio's various nature tours. Kita-Karuizawa is a base with access to a variety of spots, so you can move around depending on your mood that day. If possible, we recommend staying for a few nights and relaxing as if you were invited to a friend's villa. Spend a relaxing holiday in Kita-Karuizawa, a place you can't experience in a hotel.

This spacious 200 sqm Canadian Style luxury cabin set on an 3.5 acres property with easy car access to multiple winter sports and summer activities features a comfortable living area including a wood stove, two bedrooms, and a living room equipped with a double size sofa bed. It can accommodate 3 to 4 families. A large playroom boasting an epic bouldering wall, a ping pong table and numerous board games completes this unique vacation property. Nozawa Cottage is set right across the road from the slopes,so you can ski in ski out and it’s only 150 meters to the main Nagasaka Gondola! You can kick back in the living room and watch people gliding down the powder on one of Nozawa’s steepest runs, catch the ski jumpers on the Olympic Jump Course, or watch the kids slide past the door. Nozawa Cottage has a pretty unique layout. The building is shaped like a triangle, and we fully renovated recently with a contemporary feel.

We have renovated a small wooden hut by woods. It stands on a plateau area over 1,000m elevation. When I was a child, my one of a dream was building my secret place like this by myself. And the dream had come true at last! I hope you remember your childhood memory and feel wooden warmth by handmade in beautiful nature. This is a best area for hiking in forests and visiting beautiful lakes. The hut is good size to stay for a couple and a family or single.
