perfect place. Perfect host. Perfect location. Ridiculously good. It is a delightful place to wake up. And to fall asleep. In fact, it’s a lovely place to sleep too! Running water, beautiful gardens, great kitchen and loads of privacy. Just ask. Anything. Ros will help. I need a table and not only did I get one. I got the offer to have the legs made shorter or the surface made smaller just so it would suit me and the work I was trying to do. Can’t say good things about this stay. From kitchen, to cooking, to directions, to patience with booking when a credit card wouldn’t work. Thanks Ros. What you do is actually called hosting and you do it so well. NB Just to say a great big thanks for finding a table, checking up on me, noticing I needed fridge space (I’m diabetic) and even offering to cut my bread in half (I am disabled and find that so hard). Thank you too for a perfect home, perfectly cared for home and being so perfectly caring about people who come to your home. Really.

We had such a lovely stay at Gorse Barn and it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. It's close to the sea and the coast path if you like walking and being away from the busy bustle of town and it's also a very short drive into St Ives if you want to visit the busier town area. The barn has been renovated to a high standard and was impeccably clean with everything we needed for our stay provided. Loved it - hope to stay here again :)

Absolutely beautiful cottage which felt very private. Can access walks from the door which I personally think makes a holiday and also only a short drive to St Ives. Lottie was a very friendly and responsive host and the welcome gifts were a special added touch. Can walk to both The Gurnards Head pub (expensive but gorgeous food) and The Tinners Arms (good quality pub food and our favourite). All in all a wonderful place to spend a few days.

Gary and Lin were great hosts, i felt at home. friendly welcome and the flat is well fitted out, in kitchen, bathroom and cosy living area with lots of books and info of local area. the location is perfect walking distance to town, harbour and leach pottery. a big plus is the private parking space right in front of building. hope to come again. thank you
