The location is very quiet and close to nature. In a few minutes you can walk out of the small village of Gustow into the fields and forests. The nearest small sandy beach is 1.5 km away on foot or a comfortable 2 minutes by car. A small health food store is within 400 m walking distance.

Shopping, restaurants, and public transportation are easily accessible on foot.

There is a wide range of shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. You can also easily get your groceries there. In about 10 minutes you are right at the harbor of Stralsund. There is the famous Ozeaneum and a wonderful promenade that always leads along the water.

Güterloft Altefähr

Güterloft Altefähr was built in 1936 to the Altefähr train station, which has existed since 1883. It served as a storage and recharging station and was extensively renovated in 2022. As far as the preservation of monuments allows, sustainability and accessibility were taken into account during the renovation, so the building is equipped with a heat pump and can be accessed with low barriers via its renewed ramp.

A few years ago, I bought the house with a large orchard meadow, pond and old barn in the middle of the countryside. Since then, I have lived here with my dog, 5 sheep and a few chickens. The rental income helps us to further develop the farm. This year, a cat from the animal shelter also moved into the barn. That's why I can no longer allow dogs in principle. Feel free to write if you want to bring your dog.
