Enjoy a peaceful stay in this stunning two bedroom cottage set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. Spacious, comfortable, modern and beautifully designed, this property is a veritable gem. With 2 twin bedrooms (that can be made up as super-kings), a lovely bathroom and an open plan living / kitchen area, it is perfect for a weekend away or a longer stay to get away from it all. The property is surrounded by gorgeous walks and is a 7 minute drive from the village of Kingsclere.

The space
- The cottage is set out on one level, with a large open plan living area which features a huge, comfy, L-shaped sofa and TV area at one end and a kitchen area at the other.
- The kitchen has a breakfast bar with seating for 4 people. It has an oven, a convection hob, a dishwasher and a washing machine. It is also equipped with crockery and basic cooking equipment as well as a toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine.
- There are two bedrooms - each has two single beds with gorgeous thick mattresses and crisp white linen. Both beds can be made up as a super king on request (zip and link mattresses with 2 x single duvets). The bedrooms both feature ample cupboard space and a dressing table with a mirror.
- The bathroom has a bath, shower, basin and loo.
- There is also a dedicated work area which consists of a desk, office chair, monitor, keyboard and printer. The WiFi speed is 300 mbps

Guest access
Guests will have the entire cottage to themselves. There is a garden area in front of the property that guests can enjoy, along with a tennis court that they can use. The cottage is 20 metres from the owner's main house, Wheathold House, and shares a driveway.

Other things to note
A car is essential when staying at this property as there is no public transport anywhere near.

Whilst the cottage is on one level, it is not ideal for disabled access as the bathroom cannot accommodate a full size wheelchair.

Those with dog or cat allergies, please be aware that dogs and a cat live in the other house on the site. The cat is very independent and occasionally comes to visit the cottage if doors or windows are left open!

Beautiful walks, straight out of the front door, including in the protected Ashford Hill National Nature Reserve.

- 15 mins drive to both Basingstoke and Newbury where there are excellent train connections.
- 5 minutes drive to nearest shop (Tesco Express, Heath End, Baughurst).
- 7 minutes drive to both Kingsclere and Tadley.
