This lovely studio offers a peaceful setting for a one-night stop or a longer stay. The room has a so-called dry kitchen, which has a kettle & coffee maker and a microwave. The guest also has access to the shared kitchen on the lower floor, which is better equipped. The room has its own toilet and shower and the basement sauna facilities are also available. The forest trail starts right from the yard and on the other side of the road is the clean-watered Pyhäjärvi. The building hosts Hymyjooga yoga classes and sound bowl relaxation.

A large terrace and barbecue are available. You can rent a hot tub or a smoke sauna in the yard separately. Extra beds can be booked as shared accommodation in the main building. Extra mattresses are also available for children. Space to move and play in the yard. In the common areas, there is the possibility of using the kitchen and washing machine.

An extra mattress can be provided if needed. Bed linens and towels are included. This is our home, not a 5-star hotel.

Cozy cottage on way to Lapland

Our cottage is suitable for one or few night stay. There are 3 rooms for sleeping and in the living room there is a office corner. Our family uses this cottage very often so there is basic household appliance as well as some spices, salt, rice, flours etc. which you may use. Principle in renting this cottage is that everyone makes their own bed and cleans their own mess. Pillows, quilts, linens and towels are at the cupboard and they are included in the price.

Kaksi parisänkyä ja kaksi yhden hengen sänkyä. Mökissä on puilla lämmitettävä sauna, rantasaunan yhteydessä on palju. Palju kuuluu viikkovuokran hintaan, viikonloppuisin lisähinnasta. Hyvinvarusteltu keittiö astianpesukoneella, kesäkeittiössä ovat takka, puuhella ja kaasupoltin muurinpohjapannulle.

Electricity, an atmospheric overnight stay for two (with an extra mattress/tent for up to four) and a wood-fired sauna with warm water. Clean water in canisters, fridge, microwave and coffee maker - bring your own delicacies! Bring your own towels and bed linen. Clean yourself or order cleaning easily. Smoking outside, no pets.

The house is located in the center of Pihtipudas near the E75 road. Local grocery stores, services and events (Health Center, pharmacy, nature trails, ski trails, etc.) are within walking distance. Bed linen and towels are not included in the basic fee; bring your own bed linen and towels. Linen can be rented from the house for an additional fee of 7.50/person. Please let us know in advance.

Nostalgic Switchman's Cabin, approx. 50 m²

The house is an old - built in 1908 - VR barracks building and it once served as the house of an accountant/shunter. The premises, which exude the atmosphere of the past, were renovated in 2022 and put into use for accommodation at the beginning of 2023. In the nostalgic cabin, you can escape from everyday life, sleep peacefully and stay in an atmospheric way. You are warmly welcome!
