Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay, on the banks of the small Setti River. Dedicated beach, not suitable for small children. A short trip to the beach of Oksava. Upstairs there are two bedrooms (double bed, bunk bed), a kitchen and a toilet. Downstairs, there is a living room (sofa bed), a bathroom and a sauna. A small house with amenities and a yard sauna with a lot embedded in the terrace. The outdoor sauna is freely available; there is an additional charge of €50 for the hot tub. Final cleaning can be purchased separately for €25. Not for rent for so-called party use.

Kaakilan Helmi is a high-class cottage completed in 2018. In the cottage, you can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, whether you're on vacation, on a business trip, or otherwise just passing by. The cottage is located about 40km west of the E75 road and on the way north we are about half way to Finland and the link to Haapajärvi does not extend your trip much. From the large windows and terrace of the cottage, the landscape opens directly to the lake from the living room, bedroom, and sauna. From the sauna, you'll dip right into the lake to cool off.

This atmospheric cottage for 6 people by the lake offers the perfect place to unwind in the midst of nature. Enjoy the warmth of the wood-fired outdoor sauna and wash in the traditional way with water heated by a masonry stove. The cottage also has a shower and toilet indoors. The modern cottage offers all the comforts, so our place is the perfect combination of tradition and modernity. Bed linen €15 per person (includes sheets and bath towel). Additional accommodation for 4 people in a beach cottage, available during the spring, summer and autumn seasons.

This lovely studio offers a peaceful setting for a one-night stop or a longer stay. The room has a so-called dry kitchen, which has a kettle & coffee maker and a microwave. The guest also has access to the shared kitchen on the lower floor, which is better equipped. The room has its own toilet and shower and the basement sauna facilities are also available. The forest trail starts right from the yard and on the other side of the road is the clean-watered Pyhäjärvi. The building hosts Hymyjooga yoga classes and sound bowl relaxation.

Access to the apartment from the hallway, separate doors to the apartments on the ground and upper floors. The accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen, bed linen, cleaning, waste disposal, and summer and winter maintenance of the yard. An excellent option for both commuters and those staying for longer periods. For longer stays, cleaning once a week. Plenty of parking space in the yard.

A lot is included in the weekly rental price, on weekends for an additional price. Well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher; the summer kitchen has a fireplace, a wood-burning stove and a gas hob for a wok.

Our cottage is suitable for one or few night stay. There are 3 rooms for sleeping and in the living room there is a office corner. Our family uses this cottage very often so there is basic household appliance as well as some spices, salt, rice, flours etc. which you may use. Principle in renting this cottage is that everyone makes their own bed and cleans their own mess. Please take your own linens with you. You may also rent our linens for extra cost of 8 €/person.

The kitchen is fully equipped. Fast internet is included in the price. The house is located 5 kilometers from the center of Reisjärvi. Driving time to Haapajärvi is about 23 minutes, to Lestinjärvi about 19 minutes and Halsua windfarm 37 minutes.

The house is located in the center of Pihtipudas near the E75 road. Local grocery stores, services and events (Health Center, pharmacy, nature trails, ski trails, etc.) are within walking distance. Bed linen and towels are not included in the basic fee; bring your own bed linen and towels. Linen can be rented from the house for an additional fee of 7.50/person. Please let us know in advance.
