About a 5-minute drive to the nearest ski resort (Hachimantai Resort Panorama Ski Resort).Abi Kogen Ski Resort is 20-30 minutes in the summer and 30-40 minutes in the winter (about 18 kilometers). Dragon Eye can be accessed in about 30 minutes to the pass in return where you can park your car. Regarding your car, we recommend that you come by 4WD car when using it in winter, such as skiing/snowboarding, because it is a snowy area. For two-wheel drive and FF vehicles, it may be better to bring a chain depending on the model, so please contact us in advance if you are concerned. Two-wheel drive/FR vehicles are not recommended, but please bring a chain.

Halcoya Hanare is a separate building from Halcoya, and is an owner-less, entire home rental. 　宿泊施設は山あいにある築40年になる昔ながらのたたずまいを残している古い和風の一軒家です。和室8畳１間と10畳2間の広々としたスペースがあることから家族旅行あるいは親しい友人同士のグループ旅行に適した間取りです。もちろん、お一人様のご予約も承ります。予約された滞在期間中は他のゲストは受け入れませんので気兼ねなくお過ごしいただけます。ただし、各お部屋の仕切りは襖だけなのでそれぞれのお部屋はプライベートなお部屋としてはご利用できません。300坪の敷地内に建てられた住宅のため、隣家とは離れているのでご近所に気兼ねなく滞在できます。夏の期間中は前庭でバーベキューや花火などに興じることも可能です。もし、星に興味をお持ちなら晴れた夜には保有する光学機器で星空もご案内いたします。日中はドローンを使って庭先の上空から周辺の山々を空中散歩することも可能です。ここは都会では決して味わうことのない静かで自然豊かな環境と岩手県の遠野と共通する南部地方特有の古い伝統文化を今も色濃く残した地域です。なお、11月1日から翌年3月19日までの期間は冬季休業とさせていただきますのでご理解ください。
